As we figured out how to make the ship fly, Tadashi pased and growled at us in dragonise.
"Look, if your not going to help you can leave." I said after dropping the sail on myself for the third time in the last ten minutes. "I can't reach the stupid-"
Tadashi grabbed the sail and hung it on the rungs.
"This is ridiculous!" He snapped. "Just let me take Her-"
"No!" I said quickly. "You can't take him." I scowled."You wanted this remember! You suggested it! You could have just let us have him and gone on your way! But no! You had to come up with a totally dragon plan and egnore me the captain when we could have-" I stopped ranting as Tadashi and Xavier looked at each other.
"What are smirking at?" I demanded from Xavier.
"Oh, Nothing." He said going back to coiling ropes.
"I. I didn't think of it that way." Tadashi said slowly. "I was just thinking there's someone following me and I need to get Herbert to Evys."
"Oh! Right! Evys!" I said exasperatedly.
I stormed into my cabin and slammed the door. I felt like screaming into my pillow, but what good would that do?
This couldn't be lady problems right?
Nope.
I sighed. I should prolly apologise to Tadashi for going out on him like that, shouldn't I?
"Come on Angel, get it together." I scowled at my stupid behaviour. Being Captain was soooo stressful! Especially when your had picked crew decides to leave you stranded. With only one other human being on board.
Stupid crew.
Stupid dragon- no, Angel. Get it together.
"Angel? You alright in there?"
It was Claire. I'd completely forgotten she existed. Oops.
"Yeh. I guess." I went over to the door and opened it.
"Okay. I'm coming in" Claire said, pushing past me.
I closed the door.
"Come on, Ange, I know you, what's wrong?" Claire sat down at my desk and looked at the map Xavier and I had been poring over not a week before.
"Tadashi is being a baby, " Claire said comfortingly. "He thinks he's higher in the society chain and all that jazz. He's just jelly that Herbert likes us more than he likes him."
"Yeah. Sure" I slumped against the wall "I feel like all my emotions have been bottled up for years and years and now all the bad ones are just jumping out randomly for no logical reason at all, like what? Emotions are stupid." I scowled at the floor.
Claire stared at me for a second before nodding. "Yeah. Sometimes you could be really emotionless. I did wonder why. Was it your dads?"
"I always do what they want because they seemed right, but the further away I get from them, the more I think they're wrong... is that bad?"
Claire got up and came over to me. "I think your being too hard on yourself, you're stressed out and beating yourself up over things that are out of your control. Ok? You need to take a chill pill and relax."
Claire hugged me for a second.
I nodded. "Yeah. Yeah you're right." I sniffed away the tears threatening to spill out and shook my shoulders. "Right. Let's go see-"
I stopped as the EVYS rocked dangerously far to each side.
"What was that?" Claire gasped.
"I don't know!" We rushed out of my cabin and onto the main deck.
The ship was rocking and rolling all over the place as Tadashi chased Herbert all over the deck.
"Hey!" I shouted. Tadashi froze as Herb ran behind me.
"Hey." Tadashi said weakly. Obviously scared of something. "Your very threatening..." He mumbled.
"I know." I said, glancing at Xavier who was normally on the other end of this death stare.
"So, uh, Imma just, take off now." Xavier said slowly.
Iroh appeared from down under.
"WHAT!" He squeaked. "WE'RE FLYING?????"
Xavier laughed at Iroh's fear.
I looked back up at Tadashi.
"Go and help Xay, or I'll force you to walk the plank and you won't get Herbert back."
Tadashi let out a cuss in dragonise. "FINE." He said threw gritted fangs.
Xavier and himself hurred away to get the ship ready for sky-sailing.
