So. Yeah.
The journey was taking shorter than I originally thought, we were almost there according to Tadashi. He was really beginning to annoy me so I was thinking, what if I turned him into a frog or something?
Ya know, as a joke...
Xavier thinks it would be vern un-responable of me. I don't even think that is a word, but ok.
"Aaaaaannnnnnnggggggeeeeeel?" Xavier was now reconsidering his previous thought on the subject of my turning Tadashi into a frog.
"What?" I sighed. We had been sitting here in the cold, thin air for the last two hours and it was finally getting to Xavier's head.
"Annnnnnngeeeeeel" He complained again from next to me.
"What?" I replied through my frozen lips.
"I'mmmm bored."
"I know"
"And I think Tadashi is deliberately taking forever with this."He paused to sigh so I said:
"I regret letting him sail." I lent back against the mast and Xaviers head, which had been resting on my numb shoulder, fell into my lap.
"Ow?" He said as he headbutted my knee.
"You OK?" I asked pulling my blanket around myself more tightly.
"Yeah. I can't move though, I'm frozen"
"OK." I sat there with his head in my lap whilst he continued talking to me. Really did this boy ever shut his mouth?
I sighed. Tadashi came round infront of us and looked down:
"You too ok? You look cold"
I glared at him, "Oh, really?" I asked him, "I hadn't noticed" I scowled as he shrugged and went back up to da poop-deck.
"... and so, like I was saying" Xavier continued "I think Evys is not real. She sounds too perfect, like not really real perfect. She united people, saved kingdoms and Queendoms, and even married a southie! Like what!"
"Who said she married a southie?" I interrupted.
"Well Tadashi is a southern isn't he?" Xavier rolled Iver so he was facing me. "And he says she is his 'lover' so... kinda makes sense if you think about it. She's too perfect to be real."
I thought over this statement whilst looking down at this boy, I had come to call my friend.
His eyes never left mine as we watched each other.
"I spose..." I said thoughtfully, when all that had been going through my mind, was why on Lydian, did his eyes have two different shades of brown in?
He grinned seeming pleased with himself.
We sat there for a few more minutes until all of a sudden, I felt warm air floating around us in a comforting breeze.
"Can you feel that or do I have hypithermia?" I asked quietly.
"Oh good," Xay whisperd sitting up slowly, " I thought it was just me."
Claire's voice quickly broke the newfound peace.
"Why is it so hot?"
She and Iroh came up the stairs and stopped infeont of us.
"Were you two cuddling?" Asked Iroh skepticaly.
"No." I said, "We were-"
"Reserving heat?" Xavier suggested.
"Yeah, that. Although I don't think that's the right word?"
I said, getting up and pulling him up too.
The four of us, plus Adeen (who BTW had apparently been hiding in my bunk for the last few days) went to the side of the deck and looked out over the peaceful, fluffy clouds.
"Whoa" Claire breathed.
"Nice!" Iroh exclaimed reaching out and running his hand through the passing fluff.
Xavier stayed silent, he just stared.
"Hey!" Tadashi called. "We are almost there! Just gotta land this baby and we are at Evys."
"Huh?" Iroh said. "I thought we were going to SEE Evys not land on her."
"Well, you see," Tadashi said slowly, "She named an island after herself..."
"How very conceited." I mutterd.
I was thrown an extremely annoyed look by Tadashi whilst Xavier burst out laughing.
"Can I turn him into a frog yet?" I whispered to Xay.
He shook his head. "You have to wait for the right comedic moment" He replied.
I nodded. "Just tell me when."
He laughed again before we were thrown almost overboard as Tadashi crash-landed us onto an island.
This island called Evys was not at all like Willand or the coasts of the Marylands.
It was lush and green, so many different greens.
"Whoa, I had no idea anything could be so green" Claire said, voicing my thoughts.
The four of us, plus Adeen who seemed quite sleepy still, clamberd down the side of the ship onto the dark mossy green grass.
"Hello my dears"
