Lexie and I still have a strained relationship because she wants to be popular and doesn't agree with my choices.

She made me take us to the mall today and we went to this one store and it was all tank tops, crop tops, v-necks, and all other types of clothes I wouldn't feel comfortable in.

I gotta give it to Lexie though. These clothes are really pretty and Lexie looks great in them so no doubt in my mind I would too but I'm just not one of those girls.

I would preferably wear sweats, loose jeans, big shirts, or hoodies. Speaking of which, I need a new hoodie for work. My old one ripped moving furniture. The stupid thing got stuck on a screw. Smh.

"Lex come on let's go to a different store I need to get a new hoodie"

"Okay let me just pay," she says taking out thatcher's credit card.

"That'll be $285.63," the cashier said. Holy shit.

We walked down to Ross and just got myself a plain grey hoodie. We've been to a few stores so Lexie could find clothes for herself but I also did some snooping around to see if I could find clothes for Luke and i's date tomorrow night.

He said it wasn't a fancy dress or sweats and tee date. So I've found an outfit I think would fit. It's a black top, semi-loose ripped black jeans, a light brown coat, and new light brown converse Luke and I got each other so we could match.

Overall this outfit and my hoodie cost me less than $100 while Lex spent almost $300 on three shirts and a pair of jeans.

On the drive home, we stopped at an ice cream shop since Lexie begged like a toddler to go. We went inside and lexie got a double chocolate scoop on a waffle cone. I, on the other hand, am not a huge fan of ice cream so I just got a mango cup. Lexie paid with Thatcher's card and we sat down to eat.

"so Mer where do you work?" lexie asked licking her ice cream.
"this night moving company close to town"
"Why there?"
"They pay good and I don't get to talk too many people" I shrug.
"perfect for you huh"
"I guess," I said taking a bite out of my mango.

We continue talking for a while before we finish. Lexie tells me she wants her friends to come over today and stay for the weekend. I knew there was a catch on why she was telling me this and then she asks if I can pick them up on the way home from the ice cream shop. I agree and we go.

I always hated April's driveway, her house is gorgeous but that driveway has potholes and is always muddy. once I park in April's driveway she gets in and rolls her eyes when she sees me which I ignore. I start driving and go to Maggie's house.

She just lives with her adoptive parents but she is always trying to find out who her real parents are. So Maggie has a normal size house with a backyard big enough for them. Maggie also rolls her eyes when she sees me parking my car in her driveway.

What no one know is I know that Ellis is Maggie's bio mom.

Cristina's house is also like Maggie mostly because they live in the same street. It's only Cristina and her mom since her dad passed away a few years back. Cristina smiles a bit when I park the car and she gets in.

Once we get home, we all get out and go our own ways. I go to my room and get changed. Another new person is joining work and of course they make me train them. Luke says he knows who the person is but he won't tell me.

Once I'm in my car I start thinking of everything. Like who is the date tomorrow night going to go? Why don't I just graduate early and get school over with? What if things actually work out with Luke and I? I could work full time if I leave school. Leaving school would mean, 12hour shift 356 days a year. I'm getting paid great at work. So If I were to leave school and work half a day. I'd be making more than $100,000 a year!?! I'm gonna go talk to my principal and see if she agrees. I could get my own house, granted I have to wait about a year to actually buy a house.

I was to busy thinking, I didn't even realize I've been sitting in the parking lot of work for a for a few minutes. I get all my stuff and take it inside work.

"Jj? Emily? What are you guys doing here?" I asked putting my stuff down.
"Well we were hoping to start on training!" Jj said happily.
"you're kidding!? This is amazing!"
"We told Luke to keep it a secret until you found out"  Emily said coming in for a hug.

A hug. I did tense up a bit when she hugged me but honestly her hugs are so amazing. Jj came in for a group hug. Hugs aren't so bad if the person who's giving them has a relaxing vibe.

Luke doesn't working tonight so it just me training the two. It started off rough but they got the hang of it after about 2 hours.

It was midnight now and that's the time the shift is supposed to end but we are not done.

"Jj? Emily? You guys can go home now" I said pushing stuff to the back of the moving truck.
"What about all this?" Emily said pointing at tons of stuff still needing to be put in the truck.

"I'll do it. I'd get in trouble if the boss knew I'm keeping new workers here after their shift"

They nod and leave. We all came in the work truck but since the storage is close to work, they just walked back.

I see them go to their car and drive off. Since it was midnight, it's dark out. I never liked working late alone because it's dark but this is a relatively safe place so it's all good.

4 hours later I finish and I go to work and lock up. Arriving home I see the lights in the living room on. Who's up at 5 am?? Both Ellis and thatcher don't turn on the lights before they leave and Lexie doesn't enter the living room until she's finished getting ready. Which I'm guessing she's not because it takes her 2 hours to finish and she wake up at 4:30.

I go inside and see it was just Mark. In his underwear... gross. He must've stayed the night with Lexie. I close the front door and he turns around, hands immediately go down to cover his crotch. I was past his towards my room.

I lay in bed and almost fall asleep when my alarm goes off. Totally forgot I had school today.
