I kept hearing my phone go off but Ellis is still on a rampage on how horrible I am. She's keeps banging my door and wants to get in. My door is locked but I'm also leaning on the door with my back against it.

"Open the door right now Meredith!"

I was sobbing by now. My emotion bottle spilling everywhere. I couldn't breathe as I tried to catch my breath and tried to not let Ellis in.

I see Luke climbing into my bedroom window. His eyes looked as if he was terrified.

"It's okay, don't listen to her." He says covering my ears as I shut my eyes. I don't know how much time passed until I heard the front door slam again.

I ended up collapsing onto the floor as Luke tried to hold me. I hate that he has to see me like this. I always try to have a strong unbreakable layer on the outside but what Ellis kept telling me just broke that layer down.

"What happened Mer?" He asked concerned. I didn't say anything and just pressed play on my voice recorder, when I realized again, that i was recording this whole ordeal. I couldn't hear it all over again so I covered my ears, still trying to calm myself down.

When the recording finished he didn't say anything and just carried me to bed. He cuddled me rubbing circles on my back. I was able to calm down and fell asleep.

I woke up about an hour later and it was now dark outside. Luke was still next to me, awake.

"I asked jj and Emily to come over and bring some food. I know you probably don't want to talk about what happened but whenever you do I'm here, okay?" I asked kissing the top of my head. I nodded in response.

About 5 minutes later I hear knocking on my window. Luke excuses himself from our cuddle and opens the window helping jj and Emily get in. Luke told me that he said something happened between me and my mom but that was it.

They came over to where I was laying and both gave me forehead kisses and a side hug. Then they started distributing the food they brought. Luke sat up next to me by the headboard while jj and Emily sat at the foot of my bed.

I hear the front door open and slam again. It startled everyone and Luke looked at me since he had heard the same slamming an hour ago. I hear Ellis's feet stomp her way closer to my door. Luke hurries and makes sure the doors locked before putting his back on it.

"Hide in the closet and cover your ears." He says mostly to me but also jj and Emily. We go into my small closet and do what Luke had said.

"YOU ARE FUCKING WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT MEREDITH. I COULD KILL YOU RIGHT NOW! THATCHER CALLED AND SAID HE LEFT FOR GOOD. ITS ALL YOUR FAULT MEREDITH!! YOU RUINED THIS FAMILY. I HATE YOU. I FUCKING HATE YOU!" Covering my ears was no good aS her words penetrated right through my brain.

Instead of covering my ears I covered my eyes as I began to cry. Trying hard not to show Jj and Emily.

"She's gone Mer" Luke tried to pull my hands away from my face but I didn't let him. JJ pulled me into a tight hug and both Emily and Luke joined in as well.

It was now midnight, we had all migrated to my bed and were laying down when I began to speak.

"Everyone in my family really made me hate myself. I had to stop and get out so I wouldn't break myself."

"They don't deserve you at all." Jj said.
"At all" Emily added.
"At all" Luke smiled.

"It's the only reason I'm graduating early so I wouldn't have to deal with this place anymore." I sighed.

"Meredith I can tell all of this yelling and things here at home has been going on for a while. You go to work and smile like it's no big deal. Meredith you talked about the pain to me like it was all alright."

"I know I'm sorry"

"Don't Mer. Don't apologize. You have nothing to apologize for. They treat you like shit. They aren't the ones holding everything in. They aren't the ones working every night just to pay the bills." Luke said rubbing my arm.

"He's right Mer." Emily said and jj nodded.

Everyone decided to stay the night in my room. Luke spooning me, Emily spooning jj facing Luke and I. We ended sleeping until 9 the next morning which sucked because we all had school.

We all said our goodbyes and went our own ways. I'm glad Mrs. Bailey said I could get my stuff at 12, so I woke up in time.

I walk into the front office right at 12 and I hear a bunch of claps, cheering, and congratulations. I smiled a bit and started walking in the middle of everyone until I reached the principal.

"Meredith Grey, Valedictorian, top of her class, graduating the first month of her senior year. This is one for the books since it has never happened. Today Meredith leaves high-school and next week she starts college online since she has to wait to attend in person until next school year. Meredith Grey is so smart and amazing that she got accepted in all the top colleges. Now Meredith what college are you planning to attend?"

"Either Harvard, Stanford, Yale, or Princeton but I have my heart set on going to Dartmouth next school year" I said again earning a bunch of cheering.

Mrs Bailey handed me my cap and gown along with my diploma. She also gave me a hug. I thanked everyone one by one, giving them a hand shake. That was until I got to Mr. Webb, who pulled me into a hug, saying he was very proud of how much I have accomplished.
