(They're both like 15 in this)
Evan was sitting with his bear. He was getting kinda bored and lonely from only being able to talk to his stuffie and not being able to move around in the physical world. He was wandering around the void in his bear suit. He was just hoping and wishing that he could talk to someone with a real personality.
"Umm...Excuse me?" a small voice wept behind him. He turned to see who said that. Surprised because he was the only one possessing this spring-locked suit. "I think I might be lost...I just followed this bunny guy and we went in this room with red paint on the ground-...oh... never mind." Tears started to fill her eyes. "S-so I'm dead, huh?" He walked up to her as she cried. He put his hand on her back and started to rub it. Trying to comfort her. She let out a gasp. "Wait! That means that you're dead too?" He nodded. She looked at him with worried eyes. "Oh, I'm so sorry." With tears still pouring down her face, she gave him a hug.
"Whaaaat are you doing?" She said nothing and squeezed him a bit harder. He could hear her sob chanting 'sorry' slowly then sped up chanting 'I'm sorry' instead. She hugged him tightly, gripping his hair and the back of his striped shirt. Evan was shocked at the hug. He hadn't gotten a hug in some time. Actually, this is the first time in a long time. He felt his throat starting to hurt and water form in his eyes. Evan hugged her back and sat there in silence. They sat there for about 10 minutes. They were able to calm down during this time. As they let go of each other, Evan saw her red, swole eyes, her rosy cheeks, and her attempt to smile. All of these features made him feel something but he couldn't think of what it was. He shrugged off the thought and went back to the girl. "I've been here for a few years, haha. You know the 'Bite of 83'?" She nodded. "That was me!" He said trying to sound proud and unbothered to keep the girl calm.
"Haha. Oh! I never told you my name. It's Cassidy." She said with a smile.
"Evan." He said with a friendly yet calming grin. They sat and chat and joked and talked about their favorite things. They both got exhausted and laid down to sleep.
~~~~~A Few Weeks Later~~~~~
They have been hanging out almost every second of the day and Evan's feelings only grow more, and more. Every time he looked at her, he turned as red as a tomato. He just wanted to say something to her but he was scared to. They just met and he didn't want to ruin their friendship. "Hey, Evan!" Cassidy said as she saw her friend.
"Oh, hi Cassidy." He smiled and waved at her. He tried not to make eye contact with her or even look at her. God, he was terrified of her reaction to his feelings. Although his thoughts told him not to, he got this sudden boost of confidence. "Cassidy, can I tell you something?" She looked at him confused with a 'hm'. "I LOV- I love...." Poor Evan lost all of his confidence. He kept stuttering but surprisingly, she understood everything and interrupted his stuttering with a kiss. "Hmph-" They both melted into the kiss. They made out for a few minutes until Cassidy pulled away.
"I love you, you goofball." She said with a smug smile while messing with his hair.
"I love you too!" He said with a big grin.
