Chapter 27: The Tenth Question

Karen turned her test over and began to read over the test questions. She narrowed her eyes as she read over the first question, deciphering a code.

She moved on to the next question, describing the trajectory required for the shuriken if C were positioned at points D, E, and F. Also, to predict the farthest range of the shuriken and explain how you arrived at your answer.

'Oh wow, these questions are quite advanced.' Karen thought as she continued to read the questions seeing as they got harder and harder after one another.

She narrowed her eyes, seeing that everyone was only a Genin, and the question seemed more a jounin than Genin. So how do you figure them out without cheating?

'Wait, don't get caught cheating. That's it. We're supposed to cheat, but just don't get caught.' Karen thought as the realization suddenly came to her and picked up her pencil and looked down at the test; as she took a quick glance at the boy on her left and followed his hand movements.

'Perfect  I just copy her hand movements. Hoping her  teammates figure out something out.' Karen continues to follow Temari's head movements without being noticed.

She took a quick glance to see Takuma was upfront sneaking a peek at Hinata's test before turning away quickly to write the answer down.

'Excellent; looks like Takuma found a way to cheat, but I noticed he doesn't have his dog with him for the exam.' Karen thought as she remembered the dog from the day of the test before the Chuinin Exam.

After a couple of minutes, Karen was now down with her test and was now resting her fist against her chin as she waited for the exam to be over.

She took a quick glance behind her to see Kinji resting his head on the desk, done with his test as well.

"Five strike strikes, your out!" One of the Sentinel called out suddenly."You just failed the test. You and your teammates will leave the room immediately," He said to the guy behind Naruto.

The boy stood up and left the room with his teammates.

"Candidate number 23 failed, 7, and 43 failed!" The Sentinel announced.

'Wow, people don't know how to cheat without getting caught. Well, at least my team is doing fine; not sure about Naruto and them through.' She thought, looking at the time that was still left.

"Number 59, fail. Numbers 33 and 9, you fail."

"Number 41 fail!"

"Number 39 and 62 fail!"

Suddenly the sand ninja that was wearing the catsuit raised his hand up. "Excuse me?"

"What is it?" Ibiki growled.

"Gotta use the toilet. Sorry," He said with a smirk.

Two of the sentinels handcuffed him and tied a rope around them, acting like a type of leash."We go with you to make sure you're not up to anything," The sentinel in front said.

"That perfectly understandable," Kankuro said.

Karen could tell he was up to something but decided it didn't matter; it probably just had something to do with his cheating strategy.

"Alright, I will now give the tenth and final question!" Ibiki announced, causing Karen to head to snap up in attention.

"But before I give you the question, there are some more rules you need to be aware of," Ibiki explained.

Suddenly the door opened, and Kankuro walked in, looking confused.

"Ahh, made it just in time," Ibiki said, giving him a suspicious-looking showing he knew he was up to something."Well? Take your seat!" He snapped.
