Chapter 6: The Bell Test begins

Karen's P.O.V

I woke up the bright and early the next day and quickly got dressed in my usual ninja outfit and had my sunglasses on for when the sun comes up later.

I then left the house after getting my ninja pouch.

When I arrived at the training field. I saw that Sasuke was already there. I ignored him and sat next to the tree and took out a book on medical ninjutsu and began reading it.

I looked up from my book and rolled my as I saw Sakura show up and walk over to Sasuke and hug him.

"Pathetic," I muttered as Sasuke pushed her off of him.

Sakura glared at me after hearing my comment. I just shrugged ignoring her glare and went back to reading my book.

"Morning everyone ready for your first day," Kakashi- Sensei said.

"Your late!" Sakura and Naruto yelled.

"A black cat crossed my path, so I had to take the long way," he said with a closed eye smile. "Anyway let's get started," he said walking over towards a stump and placing a timer on it. "You have until noon to get these three bells from me. Anyone who doesn't get one doesn't get lunch, you will be tied to those stumps, so I can eat lunch in front of you," he said pointing towards the stumps.

Everyone's stomach grumble except for Karen since she can handle going without food besides she ate a heavy dinner last night, so she wasn't that hungry.

"But since there not enough bells. One of you will be tied to the stump and whoever that is will be the first one to fail. Also if you fail you will be sent back to the academy," Kakashi-sensei said. "You may any ninja tool attack as though you mean to kill or you never stand a chance."

"But those weapons are dangerous," Sakura said.

'Of course that the point. A ninja life is never safe and she a ninja yet she doesn't know that.' I thought rolling my eyes at her and putting my book away.

"You couldn't even dodge an eraser!! You're gonna get yourself killed!" said Naruto, smirking putting his arms behind his head in victory for the prank.

'Naruto is still an idiot. He never changes that for sure.' I thought sighing.

"Only the weak speak loudly. Now, let's forget the dunce, and we'll start on my signal, "Kakashi-sensei, said Naruto angrily grabbed a kunai from his pouch and attacked Kakashi-sensei.

I just stared at Naruto watching him stupidly charge at Kakashi-sensei, but in one blink of an eye, Kakashi-sensei was holding Naruto's head while his other hand was holding Naruto's hand with the kunai aimed at the back of his neck.

"Not so fast, I didn't say "Go," Kakashi-sensei said.

Impressive he definitely is a jounin even if he did fall for that eraser prank, but I'm pretty sure he fell for it on purpose. Anyway, this will be an interesting challenge.' I thought in my head.

"But you struck at me with the attempt to kill... So I'm beginning to start liking you four," Kakashi-sensei said.

"And...now ready...set...GO!!"
