Chapter 18: Haku's Serect Justu & Dream

Karen stood back up with Sasuke and sighed at Naruto's behavior.

'He is such a fool making an appearance like that in the middle of a battle.' Karen thought as she looked at Haku, who had a scratch on his mask and was knocked out of the mirror.

However, the justu was still in place, meaning the fight wasn't over yet.

"Ha! Now that I'm here, everything will be all right," Naruto stated as the smoke cleared up completely.

"Naruto!" Sakura shouted.

'Now she likes Naruto a little, but I guess.' Karen thought, annoyed with Sakura's behavior.

"You know how in stories how the hero usually shows up at the last minute and then kicks butt?" Naruto asked."Well, that's what I'm going to do right now!" He shouted, pointing a finger. "Believe it!"

Karen shook her head at his behavior and saw Sasuke was also getting annoyed with the scene as well.

"That boy," Haku whispered, turning to look at Naruto as well.

"Alright, your history!" Naruto shouted, putting his hands in a sign."Shadow clone Justu!" He exclaimed, catching Zabuza's attention as he threw a barrage of shuriken at Naruto.

"Naruto, move!" Kakashi exclaimed.

Suddenly Haku throws a barrage of Senbon needles, knocking the Shuriken off course, causing everyone to look at Haku, confused about why he did that.

"What are you doing, Naruto? Are you crazy!" Sakura shouted.

"This is a battle, not a talent show," Kakashi reprimands Naruto."Do not let your opponent see your jutsu. The shinboi art is deception. Always keep them guessing."

"Don't waste your breath Naruto a fool who doest think before acting," Karen stated.

Naruto then lets out a scream holding his head."I'm sorry; no need to be cruel, Kare-Chan. I was trying to rescue everybody!"

Karen shook her head and looked at Haku, wondering why Haku had stopped Zabuza's attack aimed at Naruto. Sasuke was doing the same as well.

"Haku, what are you doing?" Zabuza asked with z demanding tone in his voice.

"Zabuza, this boy, let me fight him my own way. Please," Haku said.

"Bring it on!" Naruto shouted, making a fist, ready to fight.

Haku stood up and lifted his head as he looked over towards Naruto while still standing outside of the ice mirrors.

"So you want me to leave this to you," Zabuza started."Is that it Haku?" He asked.

Haku then didn't say a word, just kept quiet as Zabuza continued to talk.

"As usual, you're too soft," Zabuza stated.

"Forgive me," Haku replied, bowing his head a little as he apologized.

'Soft, huh? He right; from the looks of it, he didn't hit a single vital spot.' Karen thought, looking at Sasuke's cuts from before she joined the fight.

"I'm warning you. One way or another, I'm going to rip off that mask and take you apart!" Naruto exclaimed, pointing at Haku.

"He got to be dreaming," Karen whispered.

"That mask and your bogus story! You were with Zabuza all along!" Naruto yelled."You think you can get away with a stunt like that?"Naruto asked with his handball into a fist, angry.

"I'm sorry," Haku said.

'There something about this masked person. Why apologies for doing his task for Zabuza. A shinboi doesn't show emotions.' Karen thought as she studied her opponent's body language, trying to figure out what was happening.
