"Meet your new sister Jungkook." His mother said with a beaming smile, while the small girl by her side stood holding him captive in her gaze. Her big doe eyes were dim, reflecting the only sliver of emotion she possessed, sadness.

Anyways, moving on...
After the ceremony, everybody had their eyes stuck on Lisa with admiration. All except one. Lee Ji Eun. She was known as the campus sweetheart as everyone looked up to her due to her kindness and intelligence. She returned for her second year, expecting everyone to marvel at her as they did last year, but no, they turned their attention to the ever so rumoured Jeon Lalisa, she thought mockingly.
I mean, all she was a pretty face; she's probably not even half as bright as her anyway, she argued mentally. Ji Eun forced herself to stop thinking about the new girl and headed to her first class.

They started the academic year with a combined class (meaning all the years were together). It was a tradition at SE Academy for them to always start the year off with a joint class as they believed it ensured socialization and a healthy campus environment. The students were currently stretching in preparation for their first lesson, Phys Ed.
Ji Eun had always been fit and topped the class, so there wasn't anything to worry about, but for some reason, she still felt a sense of uneasiness. She and her clique were gossiping while waiting for the instructor when she noticed a familiar face standing near the edge of the field. It was none other than Park Chaeyoung. Or better known as her half-sister.
Park Chaeyoung had been the illegitimate child her father had when Ji Eun was still only a year old. She still remembers the day on her 7th birthday when her mother found out and tried to commit suicide. Fortunately, her mother lived, but ever since that incident, Ji Eun carried hate for her father and the child he had created with another woman.
After her parents had gotten divorced, it was found out that her dick of a father immediately wedded his mistress. Ji Eun cursed at the memory when she and her mom ran into his new family. He happily carried a little girl on his shoulders with a smile he had never once shown her. It made her despise the Chaeyoung even more, and she hoped that that was the last time she'd ever see her again.
