But for some reason, they seemed as if they were about to pass out from lack of sleep. Each of her friends adorned dark circles and was yawning nonstop.
"Why are guys so tired?" Lisa questioned out of curiosity.
"Jungkook." They all said at the same time while scowling. The five had been coming up with an idea for Jungkook all night as seeing the last plans were a fail.
Jungkook had finally come, and as Lisa turned to scold him, she was shocked to see him walk straight passed, ignoring her presence.
"Let's go," Jungkook commanded his half-asleep friends without taking a glance at his sister's still form.
Lisa was confused at Jungkook's new attitude. It had seemed the cold boy from the first day she had met him had returned. She shook her head in an attempt to brush away the thought and followed slowly behind the group.
They all entered the limo, and Lisa noticed how Jungkook sat farthest away from her. The whole ride has been quiet as she wondered what she did for him to act like this.
When they arrived at school, Jungkook immediately dragged his friends to their class without a word, leaving Lisa's worry to grow stronger.
The school day had continued with Jungkook paying no attention to his sister. During lunch, Lisa attempted to speak to him near the lockers, unable to bear his aloofness.
She grabbed onto his arm, "Jungkook, what's wrong? Why are you ignoring me?" Lisa spoke desperately, with sadness varnishing her eyes.
He looked at her for a split second but ultimately shrugged off her hold on his arm and walked away, uttering nothing.
Lisa couldn't hold her tears as they rushed down her cheeks. Her knees buckled, and just as she was about to fall, strong arms suddenly held her up.
Hope sprung inside her, thinking her brother had come back. She immediately looked up, desiring to meet the dark hazel eyes she had always admired on Jungkook, but only met with disappointment as an unfamiliar face came into view.
"Are you alright, miss?" A velvety voice came from the man currently holding her shoulders.
Lisa quickly dusted away her dismay, "I'm alright, thank you," she replied softly.
"You don't seem alright, Lalisa," the voice laced with concern spoke again.
"No, really, I'm fi-" she suddenly paused, recalling what he said, "how do you know my name?"
He flashed a sweet smile at her," Who doesn't Jeon Lalisa? You're currently the talk of the academy," he praised.
He watched how Lisa slightly nodded at the realization and continued, "I'm Bambam, by the way. And I can tell that you're not fine. Do you want to talk about it?"
Lisa peered at his sympathetic face and instantly broke down, gripping onto his uniform. She didn't know why she started expressing her trouble towards Jungkook's distant attitude or why she comfortably cried on his shoulder while he gently patted her back. But, she didn't question anything and continued to stay in the stranger's embrace.
Little did they know that there was a spectator watching the scene. That's right, Jungkook had immediately run back as guilt started to eat its way, only to find Lisa in the arms of another.
