"Happy birthday to you~ Happy Birthday to you~ Happy birthday, dear Lisaaa...."

It was her 10th birthday, and everything was perfect as usual. Her parents adorned cheerful smiles while singing her Happy Birthday. It all seemed wonderful till a loud sound erupted, and everything turned black.

She opened her eyes to see her house crumbling down in flames. Her parents still sat in front of her with the same happy smile, except something was off.

The edges of their body grew black and charred. They showed no signs of pain, although they were consumed in flames. It spread through their whole body as they gradually began flaking into bits of cinder.

Lisa was frozen at the sight, "No, no, what's happening!? MOM!? DAD?" She reached out to grab them, but just as she did, they crumbled into nothing but ash, flying off into the blazing fire.

Her body trembled, tears falling uncontrollably from her wide eyes as she let out a heart-wrenching scream.

"Lisa...Lisa..." a delicate voice called out to her. She looked up to notice a small boy right in front of her. He held her face in his tiny hands, "Lisa wake up," he said with a cute smile.

*gasp* She abruptly woke up to a concerned Jungkook. She let out quick breaths as Jungkook held her face in his hands. "Lisa, you had one of your bad dreams again," he spoke softly, knowing exactly what it was about.

This was a frequent dream he'd always seen her struggle with. She'd always mutter something about her parents, and she'd coincidentally always experience it whenever her birthday approached.

He'd presumed it was about the day of her parent's death. His parents informed him of how someone had bombed the house due to some disagreement they had with Lisa's parents.

Jungkook had always carried a deep-rooted antipathy towards the unknown person who caused the loss of Lisa's parents on her birthday. He wondered how cruel someone would have to be to inflict the pain of loss on a day meant for joy and celebration.

Lisa realized she was in her room covered in sweat with tears running down her cheeks. She was pulled into a hug by Jungkook as he ran his hand down her back in an effort to calm her down. He cradled her head against his chest with his chin resting right above it.

She took fistfuls of his shirt as he kissed the top of her head in order to soothe her. She raised her head a little to snuggle into the crook of his neck. The tip of her nose ran along the side of his neck, taking in the scent of his favourite cologne and the fresh smell of shampoo.

His scent was sort of addictive, almost like a drug— a drug she wished to be consumed by to forget all her worries and flaws.

And so she indulged in it.

She let go of his shirt and sensually dragged her hand up his chest, finally reaching his collarbones. She slightly tugged his collar down to slip her fingers inside his shirt to feel the hot sensation of his skin.

She rubbed her lips teasingly across the side of his neck. She paused before lightly grazing her teeth across the smooth surface above his collarbone. He hissed when he felt her tongue peek out to comfort the part she just bit, and lightly sucked on it.

"L-Lisa?"

Lisa came out of her trance as she noticed how his breathing became heavy and haggard. Her eyes widened as she finally came to realize what she was doing. She quickly let go of him and moved back.

She ran her fingers through her hair out of frustration, "S-sorry," she said apologetically while biting her lip.

Jungkook was struck confused before he plastered a smile and rubbed her bottom lip with his thumb before gently tugging it from the vice of her teeth. "It's alright. You can do whatever you want to me, if that makes you feel better," he said with squinting eyes from the deepening of his smile.
