Nick stopped biking and decided to walk. After going to Pete's house and coming back his arms and legs were killing him even with the adrenaline rush. He saw the diner in the distance like it was calling for him. He decided to put his bike on a fence close by but not to close so it didn't look suspicious. He walked slowly and made a sharp turn down the alleyway where the window was. Just like he remembered the window was open. They must of not fixed the air conditioning or something Nick thought. He noticed the garbage bin was under it and decided to stand on that. The lid bent under his weight but he was already trying to crawl through the window. It was small but he was so skinny he could fit into anywhere.
He pulled himself inside and fell to the cold floor which was further down than he thought. His body was stinging like little ants were biting him but he still pushed forward.
He turned on the flashlight he was holding and looked around.
Robotic parts and tools scattered the place. He looked at the parts and picked up a few examining them. He didn't know which ones were more valuable and he couldn't carry much so he grabbed what ever he could. As he was putting a tube looking piece in his bag a rat ran up his leg. Nick jumped back swinging the rat off his leg. As he fell back he hit something metallic and big that started to talk and play some kind of tune. Nick turned around quickly to see a large blue fox with dark blue cheeks and red x eyes started to perform blankly. Nick stared terrified at what he just activated. It would of looked cooler if the hands didn't have claws trying to scratch him and maybe some legs would do justice. But then again Nick didn't want the fox to get up and chase him.
"Psh what am I thinking it's not alive"
Nick decided to ignore it and go back to stuffing things in his bag.
He turned around but something kept him in place. The clawed hand stopped Nick in his tracks and held him by his neck. Before Nick had time to move, the hand was retracting as the nail went through his skin. Blood started to trickle down his neck.
Nick fell on his knees holding his neck hoping to stop the blood at least a little. It didn't help and Nick knew it. He looked at the door on the far right of the room and started to crawl toward it.
Please I don't want to die anymore!
Someone help! I'm here! Please someone save me!
Nick felt entirely alone.
