3rd Person POV:

[ 19 DAYS LEFT ]

It's raining. The woman never liked rain because it's noisy and makes the sky turn grey. A colour she hates the most, a neutral colour. It doesn't give off a bright or strong feeling, nor does it give off a gloomy or dreary feeling. It just stays in the middle, unless it gets influenced by other elements to turn a shade darker or lighter.

"You look like a demon." He teased as he saw her face getting all scrunchy wearing a frown, making her look like the picture of a demon he saw in a book he read a few days ago.

She jumped at the mention of her race. "W-what?" The boy took note of how jumpy the woman is, even in simple jokes he makes.

"I said you look like a demon from getting your face all scrunched up and frowning." he mimicked what she did earlier and now the woman understood, sighing in relief.

"I thought you knew." She whispers but the boy hears it.

"I knew what?" he curiously asked.

"N-nothing... Oh dear, the rain's starting to get heavy. We should quickly head home before we get stuck here." The two just finished shopping for both of their clothes and now are waiting for the rain to stop but it looks like it wont. The lady took out the umbrella she bought earlier and opened it.

"Let's go." She carefully pulled the boy towards her, leaving a space for the boy to walk. The woman lifted the burgundy umbrella above them and the boy opened the shop's door for them to pass. Placing a hand over the shoulder of the boy so they won't get separated in the crowd, the two walked towards the direction of the brothel since it's closer than the hotel she stays at.

"Alright, here you go." They stopped at the door of the brothel. The boy carrying their shopping bags gave her the bags where her clothes were. He opened the door to enter but stopped it from closing. Heavy rain drops soon began to fall from the now dark sky. Worried that she won't get home safe he...

"Why don't you stay the night here?"
