               One whole week

One whole week. That's how long Alexander and I have been married, to date. Our furniture is finally coming today and I told him that he's not at all allowed to come to the house until 6pm, tonight. I want to make the house beautiful and homey for when he comes. I want it to be a place where he can feel tranquil and loved. I want our house to provide him a safe place that he never needs to run from.

My brother left a couple of days ago for the army. Needless to say, it was a horrible day. I bawled my eyes out practically from the moment we woke up that morning, up until when Alexander tucked me in bed to sleep. Since I was still staying at home for the remainder of the week while we waited for our furniture, I could a feel my brother's absence around the house in the smallest of things. I miss seeing my brother around the house, but I'm also extremely proud of him for doing something he loves. He promised that he will come and visit as soon as he can and that's good enough for me even though the house is boring without my twin.

Alexander and I still haven't told anyone other than Colton about us being married yet. Everyone thinks we're the sweetest couple and that we definitely belong together, but we haven't worked up the courage to tell them we got married in secret. My parents aren't impressed with the fact that I'm moving in with Alexander, at all. In fact, they've hardly said a word to me since I announced to them the day I would be moving. I do understand where they're coming from though, they are under the impression we're just dating so it makes sense that they're opposed to me moving in with him. I kind of expected my mom to understand though, especially after the speech she gave me about her first true love.

Packing the last of my things, I find a note that Alexander had left for me one evening during the week when he had to work late.

Smiling at the fond memory, I quickly tuck the note in my journal before shovelling it in my handbag, making sure that I won't lose it

Smiling at the fond memory, I quickly tuck the note in my journal before shovelling it in my handbag, making sure that I won't lose it. I love it when he does little things like this. He would never admit it, but he is extremely romantic. He knows every road that leads to my heart perfectly, like he has a secret map all planned out on how to get to my heart effectively and nimbly.

After I have completely stacked my car with most of my belongings, I drive over to our new house. Colton, who is basically the only one speaking to me at the moment aside from Allison, will be helping me unpack and rearrange the house before Alexander gets home from work. He volunteered, seeing as I wanted to surprise Alexander and he knew there is no way on earth that I'd be able to manage that all by myself. Parking in front of the house, I'm pleasantly surprised to see the truck with all of our furniture already waiting for me. I swiftly exit my car and show the guys where to start moving the things to. Colton arrives about ten minutes later, looking just as besotted with the place as I am.
