2000 Part 2

Canada walked into the bar with Rooster right next to her, bright and extremely happy smiles on there faces. Everyone looked up and over at the two, expecting an announcement.

Canada looked over at Rooster- her nerves now shot as everyone stared at them. Knowing they where all expecting something from them.

Rooster smirked as he held up there hands together- the whole bar erupted into cheers, applause, and whistling. A celebration bell was rung as the couple was ushered through to the front of the bar. Congratulations and handshakes given out like confetti.

Maverick sighed. "Okay teams! We got to get back to base. Close out any tabs, especially Hangmans. And someone call Hangman and Bob to get back to base." He said as booing could be heard from all around the bar. Warlock chuckling as he patted Mavericks back.

Back at base

Canada and Rooster sat right next to one another, playing fricken footies like two years olds at the dinner table, but giggling and laughing the whole way as eventually a pen was thrown and what looked like world war three had began as Maverick and the rest of the crew walked in.

"We've been gone for at least fifteen minutes- clean the desks up you two." Maverick said while trying to not laugh.

Bob smiled as he knew the two would've eventually gotten together, Fanboy and Payback smiled and congratulated Canada for finally catching him. Phoenix smiled and patted Rooster for catching what she called 'a Unicorn among horses'.

Canada was just happy to be there, Rooster was just a bonus as they cleaned up and sat back down in there chairs and everyone else followed suit.

Maverick sighed as he looked at his team. "I have um..unfortunately news...the mission we've been talking about has pushed ahead of schedule. We are flying out in a few hours so we either have to practice now, or we'll never get another shot. So let's go!" He shouted as everyone quickly got up and ran out to get in gear and into there planes.

Canada quickly got settled into her plane and began to pull out of the hanger, quickly getting into the air. "This is Canada, anyone else in the air?" She asked as it was radio silent. "Phoenix? Bob? Payback?..Fanboy?" She asked over the radio.

'Sorry to scare you Canada, we are here.' Bob said as the two planes appeared next to her. "Phew thank god- I thought something happened in launch." Phenoix laughed. 'Oh something did- Hangman and Rooster are somehow in agreement over wanting to protect you even though Hangman is off the teams.' She said as Canada rolled her head. "Whatever, Maverick can suck it. Let's get this test missions over with." She said as she took off towards the test site and in position. "Ready team? This is about to get tricky." She said as the two planes lined up behind her. 'Ready' she heard from both teams as she took off, using her navigation to quickly fly through the fake course. 'Canada slow down- this ain't no-' famboy tried to say before getting cut off. "We are being timed Fanboy- let's go!" Harper said as she began to fly faster. Her plane easily navigating the fake course before getting to the target site. "Okay lining it up for ya." She said quickly as she began to line up the shot. "Lined!" She said as she pulled up- Ready to make it up and over this fake mountain. Fanboy and Payback quickly set off the first bomb and quickly pulled up with Phenoix and Bob setting of the second one moments later and pulled up- successfully pulling off the test mission. Maverick and the rest of the Alpha team also completed the test mission...but now it's time for the real thing..
