Her end, His beginning..

Maverick sat infront of Cyclone with Warlock at his side and Iceman on the phone on the desk.

"So..Cyclone..we have a proposition for you that we'll see if we can get Iceman to agree." Maverick started as he looked at Warlock who leaned forward in his chair.

"Let the two be in a relationship on the same mission and squad." Warlock started as Cyclone already showed his dislike for by rolling his eyes. "But they can't fly together no matter what, not even in training. She'll be in Beta, He'll be in Alpha."

Cyclone leaned back in his chair as he thought about it. "Iceman?" He asked looking toward the phone.

"Seems like a fair deal." Said the automated voice. "Keep them separate so they don't compromise the integrity of the mission, so they can get it done. Putting her with Phoenix, Bob, Fanboy and Payback will give her an opportunity to show her strength and keep her head clear. She's our strongest and fastest pilot other than Rooster and Maverick."

Cyclone nodded before sighing in defeat. "Fine. But if the mission gets compromised in anyway- she's gone and he's stripped of rank." He said as the rest of them seemed to agree with that. Iceman hung up as all three men shook hands and went out to the impending couple.

Rooster looked over at Canada, seeing her shake and tap her foot in nervousness for the outcome. He held out his hand to her, not expecting her to take it. "I know I've only known you for a day..but you are already so important to me and I don't wanna loose you. Please let me take you on a date in-between training. I dont care if I get stripped of my rank and dishonorable discharged..I just wanna be in your life. I'd sacrifice everything.."

Canada instantly took his hand as she looked over at him as he spoke. Her heart broke since she knew how much he wanted this mission and to be in the navy like his father. "Ill probably get discharged.." was all she said before hearing the door click and instantly stood up at attention with Rooster.

Maverick walked out to the two with a massive smile on his face. "Congrats. You get to be together- but you can't fly together. Canada your on Beta, Rooster your on Alpha. Just don't compromise the mission and you'll have successfully pulled off the biggest military rule-exception in history."

Canada looked over at Rooster as Maverick finished and turned hugging him tight. "Yes! Yes!!" She shouted as she hugged him.

Rooster immediately caught her and picked her up, spinning her around with a happy smile on his face as he quickly kissed her. Stopping the spinning as the two shared there kiss together with Maverick and Warlock clapped in the background. 'Shes mine..all mine..and I don't have to share.' He thought with a big smirky smile on his face.

Canada gently kissed Rooster back, smiling as the two pulled away. "Drinks? Roosters got his tab open still-" she said while everyone began to laugh as Roosted set her down.

"Sure little lady, let's go get us some celebration drinks." He said as he held his hand out too her, a big goofy smile on his face.

Canada rolled her eyes as she took his hand. And with Warlock and Maverick walking behind them, they all began to walk to the bar..but the show wasn't over just yet..
