Drakes Perspective still
My Memories. How we met.
"Drake!"
I blinked slowly again with only my right eye. The sight didn't return. Being born with bad eyesight had a burden on me. Certain days my eye would hurt, those days my sight would be better.
Along with my sight, my hearing would be disoriented.
I was often sick. Sick in the eyes of my brother.
My family consisted of my twin and father. My father wasn't home often. He worked for the castle under the royal family. On days that I felt crazy, my brother would stay beside me and comfort me.
Watching his face was like staring in the mirror. It's what I wanted to see as my reflection.
His clear grey eyes held mine, as he is concerned for me.
"Drake!"
I stare at him seeing him clearer. The ringing in my ears slowly turned into something soft. A melody sounded in my ears.
I grabbed my ear trying to distract myself from the irritation.
Hands slapped my cheeks" Stop it!"
I blinked noticing why Damyan had been so anxious. I looked to my fingers that were laced with fresh blood. He grabbed me pulling me into a familiar embrace.
I closed my eyes as the melody stayed in my ears. The noise slowly faded and I opened eyes. One eye could see somewhat clearly while the other stayed the way it usual is. No sight. Darkness.
I started to feel the burn of my previous self-injuries.
"I'm fine." I muttered.
Damyan stood and immediately ran from the room. As he ran the footsteps caused my ears to ring again. The sound of screaming filled my head.
I stood stumbling around the room trying to escape the screams and emotions coursing through me.
"Not again!" Damyan shouted." Drake just lie down. Please sit." I grabbed my injured ears in another attempt to suffocate the noises I was hearing.
A face clear as day filled my face. I stopped stumbling as the face filled my head. A girl. No, a teenager?
Older than me. Her mouth was parted as she screamed with blood pooling from between her legs.
I grabbed my stomach. Not only was it the first time seeing a girls privates but it was completely cut open. The wounds reached all the way down to her ankles." Drake!"
I fell to the floor." Stop!" I shouted trying to muffle the noise with my own voice. The image, I wanted the image to go away. It was too real as most of these images were.
Damyan forced me to watch him.
I stared at him covering my eye that didn't work. It made me uncomfortable to use it. The feeling of having your eye open and still not seeing anything was too much for me.
"Breath! Itll go away soon."
The face in my head slowly went away. I stared at Damyan and felt tears fall down my face. I banged my head against the wall.
