Chapter 13

I sat in the bath water Kory made just for me and hummed feeling at home and relaxed.I knew it was my song and I felt the earring touch my neck again.I held it absentmindedly trying to figure out who gave it too me.I heard the door open.I looked at Kory confused until a happy Amari ran in pushing his leg."Mommy!"

I smiled."Hey."She sat on the edge of the tub.

She watched me and just giggled.She was just happy I was home.

She is unbelievably happy.She was afraid you and I would go missing this time.

I touched her hair and kissed her forehead."Im not leaving for that long ever again."

She frowned."So you are leaving?"

I shrugged."Well....grandma wants kids remember?"

She nodded understandingly.I shook my head.Rosie you have tainted my baby.Shes not suppose to know what that is.

Kory chuckled and sat on the toilet.She sat on his lap but stared at me.

"Is the pizza done?"

"Not yet."

"Shoot."

Amari started singing and I sang along enjoying her little angelic voice.She grabbed a bar of soap while Kory grabbed a brush and mouthed the words.I had my towel.I do say we sound bad asss.

I stood up "I need a towel."Amari got off of Korys lap.She handed me the towel and tried to sit on Kory's lap again."Actually that wouldnt be a good idea."

She made a face then nodded."Oh its because mom is sizzlin?"

He nodded and stood.They both licked there index and slide down their chest to stomach."Hooooohtttttttt."

I grabbed a half empty shampoo bottle and threw it towards Kory who ran out laughing.Amari laughed with him.

That is a damn shame.You are above the most.

Dont make me come back up there and lock the door.

I shuffled to the door rushing to lock it Kory slowly cracked it open and watched me like a hawk then reached in and locked it himself closing it behind him.I shivered that was the sexist creepy stalker thing ive ever seen.

I covered my ears feeling my face burn.

Im positive. I cried for at least 3 hours.

He chuckled.

I got dressed quickly and put the bracelets back on. I hurried to get some love filled pizza.I looked at Amari that lay on the floor a small pillow under her head.

"What the hell is this?"

"She K.O-ed right there.It was actually cute.You use to do that all the time.You still do it but its not cute or funny anymore. Now I just worry alot."

So im not cute?

"I wouldn't say cute is the word to describe you anymore."

I pouted he bit my bottom lip."Okay thats cute."
