Chapter 21

Starr's perspective still.

The little girl smiled. I ran and ran threw the halls confused on where I was going. Seeing was easy for some reason. Some parts even hurt my eyes. I then ran into someone and fell. I looked up feeling my adrenaline pulse threw me. The power within me hit me full force as I readied it cautiously. My eyes popped out of its sockets as I stared at the man I had just remembered. His clothes were ripped and very unusal places. His eyes appraised me as I sat on the floor.

His hand reached for mine. I took it confused. Thats when my surroundings hit me.

Kory lay on the floor his face as pale as a ghost. His body released Black mist. My eyes locked on him and his eyes slowly opened becoming a very strange mixture of colors. His mouth moved fast as words and symbols surrounded him.

A hard pressure hit my chest and slowly the memories that were occupying my thoughts drifted away. Drakes foot slammed down on Kory's stomach and his body hit the floor hard.His eyes closed softly and opened again a beautiful red. I blinked remembering that he was blond....with green eyes.

"Hello Starr."

I stared at him. He slowly got to his feet as blood dripped from his mouth. He touched my head and smiled kindly."I cant be of any help to you right now. Desiree is waiting."

I blinked at him."How...did you kno-"

Drake interupted me."Kory take a seat. Ill find the crazy girl."

"Go ahead and take him Starr."

Drake glared at Kory confused."What the hell are you talking abou-"

I grabbed Drakes hand and stepped close to him staring into his eyes. The haze from me surrounded him."Take me to her."

His eyes glazed over and his eyes closed."To who?".His voice was dazed barely coming out.

"Take me to Desiree. Warriors. They surround her. I will be there. You will take me." I whispered feeling a bit dizzy.

"I have to find the child?"

Kory sighed."The only way hes going with you is if hes really determined. Hes very persistent. Your going to have to use a stronger dose than that."

I closed my eyes and heightened it. I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him feeling the urgency rush threw me. I would guess its been a year already and shes waiting for me.

Drakes eye opened and he held me running. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He stopped running and helped me to his back.

When you meet dont forget to bring me a present. I like presents.

I closed my eyes but opened them when I got a glimpse of a pretty girl standing next to a dog. We rushed threw the other hall not passing her and the huge beast.

"Hold on."

I did as he said feeling him....NO! I screamed as he jumped down all of the stairs I knew there were about a good fifty. He landed as if he didnt care. I on the other hand hit his head. I felt my conscience slipping. He stood out of his crouch and pulled me into his arms looking down at me."Are you alright? I told you to hold on."

"Ow. My head hurts."I heard voices and looked behind me. Oh crap. They know I escaped! No...this isnt good. I brought Drakes lips to mine."Take me to her. Now."

His eyes closed aand he pulled me closer to him. I felt my cheeks heat. This is so not cool. This is really embarrassing. Please just go! He ran forward and I closed my eyes trying to calm down.
