Chapter 2

I woke up the next morning tired as anything. I went downstairs to get breakfast and Harry was there chowing down on three pieces of toast.

"Y/n lemme ask you a question, do you have friends?" Harry asked as he downed some orange juice

"Yes i have friends, do you have any ability to not shove food down your throat at any chance you get?" i responded

"I was just asking because your always tagging along with me and Nick, like do you not know anyone with a car." 

"Dont think its that deep is it, it's just a ride to school" 

"Yeah but can you not just find another way to get to school?" I stared at him for second, contemplating wether to punch him in the face or just agree to avoid arguing. I chose the latter.

"Right i'll take the bus then" He looked surprised that i actually did as he asked, almost guilty.

"See you at school" I nodded at him before leaving to finish getting ready. I decided to curl my hair today as usually i have it straight but we're gonna be back and forth between Truham and Higgs all day cause we're helping move stuff so i want to make a good impression. 

I polished my pandora rings and bracelet, put them on and then headed out. Just as i opened the door Nick was pulling in the driveway. I smiled at him as i walked past. He looked confused as he rolled down the window

"Are you not getting in?" He asked

"Nope, taking the bus today, thanks for all the rides before though" 

"Why would you take the bus instead of just getting a ride with me"

"Ask your best friend" i rolled my eyes slightly

"Can you still pick me up from my detention please" I asked

"Oh yeah 100%" 

"Alright see you at school then Nick" I said, walking away

"Bye Y/n have a good day" i threw a thumbs up at him as i walked to the bus stop.

Oh man it was a good day to get the bus. The only free space was next to Jack. He spotted me and patted his seat next to him.

"how come your getting the bus? Swear down you get a ride with Nick and your brother" 

"Aw you pay attention to who drops me off, how cute" i teased. He laughed it off then looked at me to answer the question.

"Didn't want to be in a car with my brother, apparently i'm 'cramping his style'" I put in air quotes. 

"Between you and me, your brothers kinda a dick" he said

"Woah really?" I responded sarcastically.

"You still coming out tonight?" He asked

"Oh defo. Just need to get through a detention first" I sighed

"whats that for then" 

"talking back to a teacher, bullshit if you ask me" 

"Excited to meet up with you tonight, where are we going again?" 

"Uh some fancy restaurant, not sure, all i know is Imogen is paying cause she just got a shit ton of cash the other day. Ooh yeah i'm supposed to tell you to wear something smart" 

He nodded

"Yes ma'am" He put his arm around me and we continued to just talk and laugh the rest of the journey. I got off with him when we got to his school and stood around him and his mates before form time. A lot of girls do that seeing as our school is right opposite.
