8 - robot

Colonel Yoongi entered and you immediately slapped your hand to the pocket to hide the light.
'Why are you hiding your pocket?' He said, stepping toward you.
'I'm not..?' You said, stepping back.
You eventually bumped into the window and Yoongi stood right infront of you. He grabbed your wrist and tore it away from the pocket and he pulled out the gleaming crystal, still letting out a great light, but suddenly, he dropped it. You saw a burn mark on his hand. This made him grit his teeth with anger.

You picked up the gem off the floor and held it close. As you looked in the window, you realised the light of it was going out and only the single pointing beam was left.
'So you knew after all, huh?' Yoongi said, pulling you out of the room.
'I only just remembered! I wasn't lying you know' You said back.
Suddenly, you saw Taehyung and Seokjin rush toward you.
'Yoongi, we have a major issue' Jin said.
'The robot is alive, up and running, and it is currently destroying the lower tier of the building' Taehyung announced.
Yoongi looked at you then at the crystal.
'Of course! Look boys, she activated the crystal, and since the crystal is related in a way to the bot, the spell obviously awoke the robot too!' He yelled.
Yoongi suddenly pushed you into Taehyung and Jin who both quickly grabbed you, then you all made your way toward the top floor, looking down at the action.

People were shouting all over the place, trying to board up any possible places the robot could make an entrance but the robot would just shoot down any kind of obstacle in its way. Yoongi stared down at it with a complete psychotic look on his face, the power of the creature was what he desired most. He had gone complete fan-girl mode over this robot. Suddenly, the robot looked up and saw you all staring at it, it began to climb towards the top floor. You knew that you could trust this robot because first it was Laputian, and secondly because you activated it with the spell. Just as it was about to enter the top floor, you were hauled away and you went down a secret flight of stairs.

You went into an office and they all rushed toward a telegraph machine.
'I will alert them to get the airship ready for travel, as soon as this robot mess is cleared up, we are going straight to Laputa' Yoongi shouted, typing code into the telegrapher.
Whilst they were all focused on sending messages and phonecalls and stuff, you noticed the door wasn't locked. Maybe that robot can help me get out of here? You thought.
The guns being fired against it were too weak against the robot and you needed to get out of there before you were stuffed into a ship to go to Laputa. Plus, you promised Jimin you would go to Laputa together for your first times, not with the stupid military. You checked once more, they all had their backs turned against you, so you legged it out of the door and slammed it behind you.

You didn't look back, you just rushed up the stairs to the top floor. There it was, the robot, shooting below. It could probably sense you were there because as soon as you stood next to it, it turned and faced you. Its eyes flashed at you and it probably knew who you were because after it finished blinking, you were scooped up and placed on its shoulder. In good timing too, because all three of them had run up the stairs but there's no way they could've reached you because you were literally sat on the shoulder on a 10ft robot who shot lasers out of its eyes.
'Let's go, robo guy!' You shouted.
Immediately, the robot jumped onto the wall and climbed it rapidly. You waved to all three of them whilst laughing.

You made your way to the very top floor which was outside. You simply watched whilst the robot just shot at every single cannon, machine gun or anything shooting it. But then, you saw them setting up a huge cannon which was loaded with alight, blazing cannonballs.
'Robot, quick! Up there!' You shouted, pointing at the cannon.
The robot didn't hesitate to shoot at it, causing it to break and collapse.
You looked around at the smoke infiltrating the sky, but you could see something familiar in the sky. It was one of those pirate vehicles! You saw two people on the first one.
'Robot, head up higher!' You shouted and went onto a higher roof.
Looking at the first vehicle's passengers, you immediately lit up when you saw who it was. It was Jimin! But for some reason, he was accompanied by Namjoon, the pirate captain.
'Jimin!' You started shouting, standing up on the robot.

'Y/N!' Jimin shouted back, waving.
You weren't sure what was happening, but at least Jimin was there. You also saw the rest of the pirates which you guessed made you feel a bit better in a way. They then started flying in closer.
'Get ready to jump on!' Jimin yelled.
The machine pulled up right next to you and so you clambered on.
'Thank you, robot!' You yelled, waving at it.
It stopped shooting for just a second and blinked its eyes again.
You all then drifted away into the sky, you looked down and saw heaps and crowds of military people trying to shoot down the robot who still kept going, destroying the fortress. But then, another one of those huge cannons was set up behind it, and since nobody was there to warn it, a huge lit cannonball struck through the robot, making a huge hole in the robot's torso. It then fell to the ground and all the shooting stopped.

The death of the robot was upsetting, even though you only knew it for a couple hours or so, but at least you were out of there. You hugged Jimin.
'I can't believe you actually came!' You shouted.
'Hey, I wasn't just gonna let my bestfriend stay with those stupid military lot' Jimin replied, giggling.
You both looked at the fortress which was still slightly a blaze, but neither of you cared.
'So, what now?' You asked.
Before Jimin could answer, Namjoon interrupted him.
'You two are gonna be joining our crew!' He shouted, the others pirates cheering.
'Sorry, if I didn't agree, they probably wouldn't have saved you' Jimin sighed.
'That's fine, I guess..' You replied.

'Do you have the crystal?' Namjoon asked.
You patted your pocket expecting to find the crystal, but it wasn't there.
'You don't do you?' Namjoon sighed.
'Nope..' You said.
'Dang it, oh well, you two are still joining the gang anyways' He said.
