mike smiled at what nancy said
i'm proud of you.
"thanks, nancy, i'm proud of you too." mike smiled.
he wouldn't admit it, no sibling really would, but his sister is his hero, she always has been.
they put their plate down on the table and gave nancy a really big hug. usually, they do this when they're about to cry, but this time was different. they did it out of pure love for their sister.
nancy quickly hugged back.
after they released the hug, they both sat down and ate the pizza that nancy had made, which was quite good.
"so, how's will?" nancy asked.
"they're good," mike blushed. "will is amazing. so in love with them."
"that's amazing to hear." nancy said.
"how's robin?"
"she's good, we're good."
"are you two.."
nancy playfully smacked mike, usually this would make them flinch, but this time they didn't.
"shut up, mike," nancy blushed. "maybe, possibly. i like her, she's great."
"she seems great,"
"look at us, two people who came from unloving parents, not going down their path like people thought they would."
"truly amazing," mike said, and they finished off the pizza.
mike doing the cleanup, afterwards going to take a shower then go go their room.
if you would have told the two older wheeler siblings a year ago that they'll end up finding love, neither would believe you one bit.
the next day, mike and will decide to go to the movie theater together, jut the two of them, no one else.
they didn't really watch the movie, they were making out the whole time.
i'm so glad i faced my fear. mike thought to himself. i'm so in love with will byers it isn't funny.
