Adopted (A 1D Fanfic)

Chapter Ten.

Chapter 10:

Sadie's POV-

"Sadie, we need to talk about school.." Liam told me as I walked into the kitchen and sat at the breakfast bar. Oh great, school. I groaned.

"Now, it's almost the end of August which means the school year is almost starting." Niall explained as he handed me a plate of toast, before taking a piece for himself.

I nodded, "am I going to my old school? The one that I came to before here?" I asked.

"Yep, that okay?" Lou smiled. I nodded again,forcing a weak smile. It's not that I didn't like the school, I just didn't have any friends. See, people knew that I was in an orphanage and, well I guess they were just wary of me and stayed away.

"Great! Well, school starts on the 3rd of September which is..." Louis checked his phone, "four days away!"

"Great.." I sighed, standing up and putting my plate in the dishwasher and running upstairs.

I went into my room and picked up my laptop before sitting on my bed. After scrolling through tumblr for a while, I decided to create a twitter account...why not?

After thinking for a while, I finally decided on the username; @Sadie_Mayy. {made up username,idk if its real or not :P}

I logged in and started following my favourite celebrities; Ed Sheeran, Parachute, Tom Daley, Little Mix etc. I then followed the boys and some other random people.

I decided to be sociable, so went downstairs and sat with the boys who were spread out across the sofa, Niall and Louis were playing some game on the Playstation, Liam and Zayn were on their laptops and Harry was on his phone.

"Guys, I made twitter!" I smiled, siting down on an empty seat.

They all followed me and Liam tweeted telling people to follow me. In five minutes I had gained over 150 followers!

I sat on twitter for a bit, tweeting and following people before I got bored.

"I'm going to the park, I'll be back in like an hour!" I said, standing up and picking up a book I was halfway through reading. The boys said okay and I left the house, heading towards the park that was a few minutes away.

I sat down under a tree and opened the book, quickly becoming engrossed in it. After a while of reading, I felt the presence of someone next to me. Slowly looking round, I noticed a girl, around my age, sitting next to me.

"Um.. Hello?" I said, turning to face her.

"Oh, hey, are you Sadie?" She asked me, wow someone recognised me?!

"Yeah" I confirmed smiling at her.

"Oh I thought so! By the way, I love 'the last song' it's so good." I looked at her a bit confused for a bit until I realised that she was talking about the book I was holding.

"Yeah, it's pretty interesting!" I replied.

We talked for a while and I found out a bit about her. Her names Josie and she's just moved here from Dublin, Ireland. She's also starting the same school as me, which is great because we'll both be able to stay with each other. It didn't feel like we had been talking for long, but when I looked at my watch,it turned out we had been talking for over an hour!

"Well, I need to go now, it was great meeting you!" I smiled as I stood up.

"Yeah! Hey, could I get your number?" She asked, pulling out her phone. We exchanged numbers before leaving each other to go to our own homes.
