The weekend came and went by pretty fast.

I didn't do anything but lay in bed, watch Netflix and eat junk food. I didn't get out or go anywhere cause this was my only two days for relaxation and I wasn't about to lift a finger.

All the cleaning was done, along with the laundry so I just settled into my bed and never moved.

It was heaven.

I didn't see Paisley any this weekend, even though I never left the house and I didn't see her Monday morning either.

When I walked out once during the weekend to check the mail, her grandparents were outside and I asked about her.

She said she was with her mom this weekend and that made me smile. I'm glad she's spending more time with her mom and starting to trust her again.

Her grandmother told me a lot of great things from when her mom was here the other day that night about how she was paying attention to Paisley and played games with her as well as helped her with homework.

"How was your weekend?" Rose asks me as we were sitting outside for lunch.

"I stayed in and watched Netflix."

"That's cool." She sighs.

Looking at her, I couldn't help but chuckle. "You worked didn't you?" I saw her nod but never looked over at me. "How was it?" I ask as I averted my eyes towards the parking lot, waiting for Miss Dawson.

"It was torture. This rude ass woman came in and started an argument and I literally told that bitch that if I needed to lose my job over a fight then I was all for it."

I laugh as I saw her roll her eyes before pulling grass up and putting it on my leg. I dusted it off before smiling at her as she was looking away, avoiding eye contact.

"I'm glad I don't deal with customers."

"Shut up."

We sat there as everyone was walking in the building and walking out. I look up at the sky and squinted at how bright it was before shutting my eyes and sighing.

"There's your best friend."

I look over at Rose as she motioning somewhere. I turn my attention in that direction and saw Miss Dawson walking up to the school, looking absolutely gorgeous.

That made me smile.

"Damn girl, chill."

I look over and saw Rose smiling at me before I roll my eyes, looking back towards Miss Dawson. I watch as she walking up the steps then she looks over and saw me staring at her.

She smiles before walking inside and disappearing.

Rose was staring at me but I ignore her as I was pulling grass up and placing it on her. She laughs before dusting it off and pushed me slightly, saying something under her breath but I couldn't understand it.

"Have fun with Miss Dawson. Don't drool, ok?" Rose laughs as we were walking to our class after lunch.

I roll my eyes before waving at her and making my way down the hall. I rounded that corner and saw her standing outside of her classroom, greeting students as they walk inside.

She turns her head in my direction and smiles. I couldn't help but smile back as I approached her, holding my textbook by my side.

Her eyes were on me the whole time as I walked past her, but my eyes were on her as well.

After I sat down, I lean back and stared at the desk before hearing the class door shut. I look towards Miss Dawson as she walks in before standing in front of her desk and her eyes landed on me.
