"Papa, you also sit with the guests for the lunch. You must be hungry. Also, you have to take medicines. " Sanyukta said to her father as she was serving food to the guests.
"No beta. I ate fruits and Prashad after the pooja so I'm not hungry. I'll eat with you and the family after the guests are done... And don't worry, I already took my medicines after eating fruits. " Kishore assured Sanyukta.
"Ok then. I'll serve the guests. "
"Yes beta. Pls look after them well and give your personal attention to everyone."
"Yes Papa. I will." Sanyukta went to the dining table.
Kishore went busy in talking with Mr Bajaj. Randhir was talking to his office staff who already had finished the lunch. Their neighbours were having lunch and Sanyukta along with Aasha was serving them. Sanaya was helping them.
Randhir's staff members took leave after sometime. Their neighbours were also done with the lunch. Men were sending off the guests. When all the guests were done with the lunch Sanyukta went in the living area. There were just Randhir, Kishore, Rehan and Mr. Bajaj. She called everyone to eat. Within no time, everyone settled down at the dining table. Kishore sat at the single chair at the one end of the table. Mr. Bajaj sat beside him. Randhir was beside him. Rehan occupied the chair beside him. On the opposite side of them, Sanyukta sat right beside her father. Followed by Sanaya, Aasha and Raghu. Kishore strictly told everyone to sit for the lunch and not to wait for anyone. And they all were hungry by the morning fasting and too much work they did for the pooja so they all sat without any second thought. They all started serving and passing the food to each other. When they all had everything in their plates, they started eating.
"So.. Any updates from FITE? " Randhir asked and looked at Rehan.
"Randhir, stop talking about work while eating. ' Sanyukta spoke as soon as Randhir finished his question.
"Come on Sanyukta. You know we only talk on phone and rarely meet. So now that he's here, let me talk to him face to face. "
"Later. After eating. For now, eat your food silently and slowly. You've worked so hard today." Everyone on the table were watching and smiling at the fighting couple. Specially Kishore. He was glad that his daughter is happy in her married life with Randhir. He said,
