"Haaaah...." Randhir let out all his tiredness as he threw himself on the bed.
Sanyukta watched him through the mirror of the dressing table she was sitting in front of. She shook her head.
"Sometimes you really act like a child." She said as she got up and started walking towards the bed.
"What child ? I'm literally drained. " He said as he set his pillow properly.
"We all are. But you are exaggerating it."
"No I'm not."
"Whatever. I'm too worn out to argue. Let's sleep already. " She laid on her side of the bed. "I'm happy that everything went well. These rituals are tributes to our elders. I always want them to be done properly. " She put her arm around his waist and head on his arm.
"True. I couldn't do much for my parents when they're alive. So I always make sure pooja is done without any mistakes and disruptions. Hope they're happy after seeing me thinking about them like this.... I just want to do everything I can to make them happy..."
"They're happy Randhir, cos you are doing more than a son must do for his parents. You did it in the past too. When they're here... You didn't disappointed them at all. "

"TBH, your father is very soft from inside. I realised it over the time since we revealed our relationship to him. The beginning was tough for both of us no doubt. But he tried to get along with me because I am his daughter's husband was where I knew his real personality. And I'm more than fortunate to have him by my side now. He's so warm hearted. Just having him with you makes you feel safe and gives you strength.... God took away my father from me but gave yours instead...
