16. Surprise... SURPRISE....

"Oho, dekho to, kaun aa rahi hai!
Humari nayi naweli Dulhan.."
Said Taniya who was sitting with the others.
SY was dolled up in a leaf green satin insaree with red border and sleeveless blouse with the front pallu. RD too was wearing matching kurta. It was like 7 in the morning.

"Aye haye, glow to dekho madam ka"
Taniya continued.

"Shut up Taniya. Good morning everyone. Hope u all rested well last night. "
SY said. Everyone greeted het back. PR and Yo even completed her. She sat with them. The housekeepers were busy in their work. Mr Bajaj was looking after the preparations of Satyanarayana pooja. RH had went to their residence to bring some essentials as they didn't had planned to stay here.
Chacha ji came to inform everyone that breakfast was ready. SanDhir told the gang to go to the dining table to have it and both joined RS in the preparations.
The pandit ji arrived after some time. RS welcomed him and did the formalities. The priest checked the preparations and told the latter that they can start the Pooja. So without wasting time, the couple went for it. RH came back till then and joined them.
After finishing the breakfast, friends also settled in the living area watching the couple from far. Some clicked pictures of the couple. Pooja took place for nearly one and half hour. Then the couple got up and took blessings from the priest and RS. They gave the Prasada to every person in the house. Pandit ji had his bhojana. RS sent him off with all the respect and formalities.
The family went to have breakfast together. The friends went to the home garden to chill.
The family discussed about the ritual of Patfera. RS told the couple to leave for Aggarwal Mansion right after finishing the breakfast. He informed KS about the arrival of the couple.
Soon, they finished the breakfast and came to the living area. All the friends were called inside. SanDhir quickly got ready to leave. They informed the friends about their leave. They told the friends to enjoy this free time. They took leave then shortly.
The friends settled on the couches and went in to some serious discussions. RS took his leave from the gang and went to his room with RH.

All the relatives were gathered and waiting for the couple in Aggarwal Mansion.

As soon as RD's car arrived in the mansion, Aggarwals came to the main door to welcome the couple. They all looked very happy. As usual, VD did Tilak of the couple and showered some flowers over them. SanDhir touched KS's feet and took blessings. The latter had teary eyes because of the happiness of seeing his daughter dressed up in his wife's saree as a married woman. He hugged the couple. Then they went to Bua ji and other elders.
Then they're welcomed them in. The couple settled down on the couch. The family and relatives sat with them. Housekeeper brought water and drinks for them. And they went busy in chatting. The couple had brought gifts for children and elders. They respectfully handed them to everyone. KS told VD to look after the preparations. Soon VD came back informing him that everything is ready.
KS told the couple to light the Diya in the Pooja ghar. The couple went for it. The family companied them. It didn't took much time to them to do the Pooja. They all came back in the living area. KS told the relatives and guests to do lunch. Some of them went for it. VD was handling them.
KS sat with SanDhir the whole time.
SY said she wanted to rest in her room and headed there. RD was still in living area talking to KS and other relatives.
Once all the relatives were done, KS called SY for lunch. The family had the lunch together. They had a great time together. They were continuously talking and laughing and having fun. They came back to the living area again after finishing the lunch and sat there for some time. They watched the pictures of previous day and enjoyed it a lot.
Time passed soon and it was almost evening. KS told the housekeepers to serve evening snacks and drinks to all. The couple too had them. After spending the evening snacks time joyfully, the couple went ready to leave. All the relatives and family gathered in the living area again. But they were happy today. They're all smiling.
The couple reached the main door. Rest followed them. KS handed them and envelope. The couple went surprised and curious.
