Howdy folks! So, as a disclaimer, I try to keep out as many "[description]" things as possible and keep them very simple and as non-distracting as possible. But, as we all know, Snow White heavily mentions "skin as white as snow" and obviously not everyone who reads fanfiction is a pasty white skinwalker so you may see a lot of [these] when that phrase pops up.

I'm usually watching these movies as I write, and sometimes in the clean-up process I will miss certain things, like descriptors or even the names of certain characters, that need to be changed. So if you see that I missed something, please let me know! Anyways, enjoy!

Once upon a time, in a quaint kingdom in a picturesque land, there lived a lovely princess named [Name]. Her vain and wicked step-mother, the Queen, feared that some day [Name]'s beauty would would surpass her own. So she dressed the princess in rags and forced her to work as a scullery maid.

Each day the vain queen consulted her magic mirror, "Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" And as long as the mirror answered, "You are the fairest of them all", [Name] was safe from the queen's cruel jealousy.

The morning skies flourished in soft pink and blue hues, a perfect backdrop for the humble kingdom's castle, sat atop a cliff edge surrounded by a shimmering lake. But behind the soft white-painted stone, the Evil Queen sauntered in a dark eerie room, filled with garish décor. The only bit of light that illuminated the room, was from a magical mirror.

"Slave in the magic mirror," the Evil Queen pulled her arms from her dark drapes of clothing, "come from the farthest space."

The sound of winds whirling in the mirror echoed in the chambers, and the queen's drapes fluttered, "Through wind and darkness, I summon thee. Speak!"

Within the mirror, lightning cackled and fire erupted. The fire fizzled quickly, and the smoke left behind swirled in a circular motion, taking on a green color as an uncanny face emerged slowly. As the smoke settled, the face floated solemnly alone in the mirror.

"What wouldst thou know, my Queen?"

The Evil Queen tilted her head up, though her eyes never breaking away from the mirror, "Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?"

"Famed is thy beauty, your majesty," the mirror paused, "but hold, a lovely maiden I see... rags cannot hide her gentle grace. Alas, she is more fair than thee."

The Evil Queen's face contorted in fury, "Alas for her! Reveal her name!"

"Lips as red as the rose. Hair as [color] as [descriptor]. Skin [color] as [descriptor]."

The Queen recoiled in disgust, she knew exactly who that was. Her eyes narrowed as she spat out the name of the step-daughter she so deeply envied.

"[Name]."

On the bottom of the steps leading to the castle courtyard, a young princess scrapped and scrubbed the ivory stone floors. Her hands covered in blisters, face in dirt and muck. But even as her body ached, she still hummed a soft tune with a small smile.

As she took an empty bucket nearby and waltz toward the water well, a flock of doves had stopped at the sound of her angelic tune. They settled in the nearby trees and at the top of the water well. [Name] continued humming, this time with a bit more vigor as she noticed her gathered audience.
