"For fuck sake!" Charlie groaned. "I really don't see why you can't be the one to sort this out."

Charlie felt terrible. He'd had to ask George to go and fetch Eleanor to take her to The Burrow because he was going to be late. He'd invited her to a party that he wasn't even going to be at for a while and he only hoped that she wouldn't mind too much. The only thing that he held onto was that she knew George pretty well and that he would take care of her whilst she waited for Charlie. He was currently stuck at the reserve trying to sort out some important paperwork that had somehow been severely messed up.

"You know all of the dragons better than anyone else," Zoey shrugged as she stood with her arms folded in front of where Charlie sat. She didn't look the least bit sorry. "Somewhere to be?".

"So fucking what? Surely this can wait till tomorrow?". He ignored the last part of her question.

Zoey rolled her eyes and moved to perch on the edge of the desk. "Stop being so dramatic. It won't take long."

"Can you at least pretend to be helpful then?" Charlie snapped, not even looking up at the woman. The last place he wanted to be right now was here with her.

Meanwhile, Eleanor was being very well looked after at The Burrow. Molly had greeted her like an old friend, pulling her into a bone-crushing hug and telling her how beautiful she was, before Ginny pulled her by the hand out into the garden where they'd erected a large marquee decorated with hundreds of fairy lights and adorned with dozens of small round tables and chairs.

"Wow!" Eleanor breathed. "This is like a proper party, then?".

"Yup," Ginny affirmed. "This will be the first year we've done it since... Since we lost Fred," she muttered. "For obvious reasons, we didn't much feel like it last year. We almost didn't this year."

Eleanor offered a sympathetic smile. "I totally get it. This place looks amazing, though!".

"Can't believe that git isn't here yet," Ginny scoffed, referencing Charlie. "It's a bloody good job he's got a kickass family else you'd probably be a bit stuffed right now."

Eleanor laughed, nodding in agreement. She had felt rather on edge arriving without Charlie, but the Weasley's were all so welcoming that the feeling disappeared pretty quickly. George was worried about leaving her to go and find Angie and his friend Lee, but Ginny assured him that she would take care of Eleanor by supplying her with drinks until Charlie arrived. After a short while, Bill arrived with Fleur who both came over to greet Eleanor too.

"Where's Charlie, then?" Bill enquired as he filled his own glass up with something a deep red colour.

"Here you prick."

Eleanor's stomach flipped as she heard his delightfully familiar voice from behind her. Before she could even turn around to spot him, she felt his large hand on the small of her back and his rough stubble against her cheek as he kissed it.

"Fancy seeing you here," Charlie grinned a heart-stopping grin when Eleanor looked up at him. It had only been a day since she'd seen him but in her opinion, that was far too long. She felt her mouth go dry as she observed him in all his god-like glory.

"Fancy that," she grinned back.

"How nice of you to join us!" Ginny uttered, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she too walked over to re-join them.
