Part 10

~Robin~

"Well it could've been worse, you could've confessed your love to Munson or something crazy like that." I say

We both let out a giggle and continue to drink our coffees.

Then suddenly she exclaims "OH MY GOD."  and she proceeds with dramatically spitting her coffee in the sink.

I look at her like she's a fucking nut.. she just spit out the delicious coffee I brewed... asshat.

"Whats wrong? Was the coffee too bitter? You coulda just said that.." I say, trying to figure out why she just did that

"NO ROBIN, YOU MENTIONED CONFESSING FEELINGS.. AND UM. THE OTHER NIGHT, I'M REMEMBERING AFTER STEVES PARTY I WENT WITH EDDIE TO HIS TRAILER, CONFESSED MY LOVE TO HIM, AND WE DID SOME SEXY STUFF WITH EACH OTHER!"

I nearly drop my coffee out of shock "You did what now?" I say completely dumbfounded

"I told Eddie I loved him." she says

We both stay in silence as she processes this.. she had to have been really drunk not to remember.

I break the silence "And he didn't tell you what you said?"

Then her face frowned, she must've realized something.

She thought he didn't feel the same way.

"I should get going Robin." she's trying to hold back tears and I don't try to stop her from leaving because I'm sure she's thinking a million things right now. If my forever crush didn't like me back either, I would be pretty hurt too.

I hear her begin to sniffle as she walks out of the door. She has loved Munson for so long.. so I can imagine the heart ache she's feeling.

I attempt to finish my coffee but all I can do is worry about her.. poor Scarlett.

Then I hear the guys making their way down the stairs.. I try to hide my facial expression, but Steve knows me too well.

"Hey.. Where did Scarlett go?" Eddie asks

Steve notices I'm upset and he chimes in "Did something happen with Scarlett?!"

Then Eddies face turns worried. Steve gets impatient for a response and goes to use the bathroom. Once he walks away I can tell Eddie what's wrong.

I look at Eddie and say "She remembered." I don't want to go into detail because otherwise it may come off harsh.. I have no filter with my words.

He thinks for a second processing what I just said.. then it hits him.

"S-She remembered what she said the other night?"

"Yeah.. and now she's even more heartbroken to know the guy she has spent loving all these years didn't have the audacity to tell her she poured her heart out to him." I walk away feeling angry. He better make things right before Scarlett gets deep into her emotions.. she just relapsed for christ sake.

I hear him leave as the front door slams shut, I'm sitting in the dining room, just thinking about whether or not to tell Steve about all of this. He's really overprotective of Scarlett and I can't let him do anything stupid.

He finally comes out of the bathroom and I hear him sigh, he also looks upset, but possibly for a different reason.

"Wheres Munson?" he asks

"He left."

He shakes his confused "Huh? Why?"

"Its kinda a long story.. anyways.. whats up with you?" I say attempting to change the subject
