Part 19

~Steve~(At the bar)

Damn this place is crowded.. but it is the only good bar within in a 10 mile radius so I guess that would make sense.

Its my first time going somewhere alone in a really long time so I have to make the most out of this situation.

I find a seat on the far right end of the bar where hardly anyone is sitting, I order a shot of tequila and gulp it down.. I do not enjoy the stinging of tequila.

I look around and observe the dark essence of the place, its kinda weird in here and not very welcoming, but at least it feels clean.

"So what brings you here son?" The bartender asks, he's probably in his late 40's, but he's radiating dad vibes which makes me feel a little less awkward here

"Just needed a drink.. kinda stressing."

"I see, girl problems?"

I nod "You know it."

"Typical, but just remember, only dwell if she's really worth it. I wasted a lot of years on women who didn't care about me, and look where I am now."

As we continue talking I hear some familiar  voices from afar, I turn around and see Eddie with his weird Hellfire friends. They have girls by their sides and he's the only one by himself.

He doesn't see me from a distance, but I can definitely see him.

A few minutes pass by and I see Chrissy got here now too.. he was still dating her? Even after the shitty way she acted towards Scarlett.. says a lot about him to be honest.

I see them sitting together and it seems that they are enjoying a drink, I don't know why I'm spying on them but I genuinely have nothing better to do.

"You spying on someone?" the bartender jokes

"Kinda.. you could say that."

Chrissy walks away from him and Eddie stays seated looking a little drowsy.. not that I care but it was just my observation.

A few minutes pass by and he gets up from his seat, Chrissy follows behind him.. they look like they're heading to the bathroom.. go figure.

I hope Scarlett isn't wasting her time on this trailer trash.

"Can I get you anything else to drink?"

"I'll take a double shot of tequila."

He slides it to me and I gulp it down without a chaser.

I hand him 50 bucks and tell him to keep the change, I go outside and decide to chill in my car, the bar scene is definitely not for me.. I tried.. I really tried.

I doze off for what felt like an hour but in realty had to be about 30 minutes, and when I open my eyes I see Scarlett.. Wait Scarlett??

Okay I don't know if the tequila is deceiving me or what the fuck is happening but she's definitely in front of my eyes.

I lay low in my seat and observe as to why she's here.. she looks upset, like really upset..

The two hellfire friends hand her Eddie and help him into his van, she gets into the van and drives off.

Why would she be here for Eddie? This shit really isn't adding up..

He was just with Chrissy? Is he cheating on Chrissy with Scarlett? Vice Versa?! I'm so lost right now.

I hate to play spy.. but I need answers.

I'm sure she went to Eddies house to drop him off or something.. so off to Eddies house we go.
