🆅ictoria wandered the halls of the arcade. She passed by bright colours and loud kids trying their best to get a high score in the arcade games. Her face lit up slightly when she noticed the familiar red-haired girl marching towards her. Only she didn't look too happy to see her.

"We need to talk," Max spoke immediately as she walked right passed Victoria straight for the exit.

Without having much of a choice, the girl followed her friend to the parking lot. Her eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. A million different reasons as to why Max could be unhappy dashed through her mind.

"Ben told me something funny yesterday," Max spoke awkwardly scratching at the back of her neck.

"What?" Victoria asked her, taking a seat on one of the benches that were placed right outside.

Max sighed before immediately starting her little interrogation. "He said that you used to be friends with the people that bullied them,"

"I was," Victoria admitted at once. She didn't skip a beat.

"Oh good," Max sighed sitting down beside her. "I nearly thought you -," She came to a sudden stop.

"I know," Victoria looked down at her hands. "It's horrible what I did. Or it's horrible what I didn't do. Not enough at least."

The girls were silent for a moment.

"I didn't have a choice," Victoria started wanting to get rid of the awkward silence. "I mean, not really anyway."

Max stood up, suddenly sitting on the same bench as her was a horrible feeling. "You always have a choice."

"Yeah," Victoria agreed softly still looking down. "That's why I admire Mike so much, you know. He's got nerve. Every time, he stood up for himself. And not just for himself but for everyone else. All of them did, even Ben at the end."

"What end?" Max turned around.

"They–" She paused before she corrected herself.  "-we chased them, in the woods, lead them right to the cliffs." Victoria shook her head, trying to stop herself from freaking out. "It was Mike, Dustin and Ben. One of my– my friends, he was angry at them. 'Cause at Will's assembly they did something strange to him."
