🆃he tall boy swore that he had been waiting in front of the Palace Arcade for about 10 minutes already. His friends were nowhere in sight. He moved back slightly towards one of the walls. Arms crossed over his chest, he sighed leaning against the structure.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he could hear the loud voices of Dustin and Lucas arguing fill the night sky. He laughed softly to himself.

He fully kicked his body off the wall when he caught sight of the three bikes. Dustin, Lucas and Mike rushed onto the parking lot. They came to a screeching halt right in front of the boy.

"Took you guys long enough," Ben complained as he followed them over the bike racks.

A car horn honked behind them. Ben turned around and saw Will sitting in his mom's car. After everything that happened last year, Will wasn't allowed to walk or bike anywhere anymore. Ben thought it was sad, but he understood. His own parents choose to drop him off rather than letting him use his bike.

The five boys quickly made their way inside to enjoy the games or in Ben's case, to watch his friends have fun playing games while he spends his money on snacks and beverages.

That's where he currently stood. Next to Lucas, while Dustin played Dragon's Lair. A game where they had to save princes Daphne. While his friends were yelling at Dustin to make a certain move, Ben's eyes wandered around the place. One hand in and out of a chips bag.

"No, No, No!" Dustin complained as he kicked the machine. "I hate this overpriced bullshit."

"You're not nimble enough," Lucas laughed, placing his hand on Dustin's shoulder. "But you'll get there one day. But until then, Princess Daphne is still mine."

Ben looked at the screen of the arcade game. Princess Daphne was on, pressing her arms closely to her chest. Ben chuckled as he shook his head.

"As if you'd ever have a change with her,"

Lucas spun around ready to give a piece of his mind to his smirking friend.

"Whatever," Dustin sighed, unintentionally breaking Lucas' train of thought. "I'm still top on centipede and Dig Dug."

"You sure about that?" Keith asked. Keith was a greasy looking teenager that worked at the arcade.
