🆃hat night, Benjamin didn't quite remember how he had made it home. It didn't take long for the group to split up after Mike had stormed off. Ben had been one of the first to leave.

But he had made it home. Not caring about how he shouldn't have been out for that long, he slammed the door open to his house. Rick Brown was in the middle of washing the dishes when he heard the slam of the door against the wall.

"What the f–," He exclaimed, throwing the towel over his shoulder. With big and heavy steps he made it towards the foyer, thinking that somebody unknown had just entered his house.

His speed and heaviness came to stand still as he watched his son. Benjamin stood there, drenched from head to toe. Out of his hair and clothes dripped small droplets as he looked at his father. The poor boy was shaking and his eyes were bloodshot. Rick could hardly tell if he was crying or if it was just the rain gliding down his face.

"They found him," He uttered. There was something in his voice that Rick had never heard before. A mixture of sadness, fear, hopelessness and yet relief.

"Who, son? Who did they find," Rick spoke softly, now with soft steps he made his way closer towards the boy.

"Will," Ben's voice cracked. He coughed and started again. "They found Will's body."

"Oh, my boy," The quick steps from earlier were back as the father rushed over to his son. Ben started sobbing as he nearly threw himself in his father's arms.

"What, what's happened?" Susan yelled out as she now too had entered the hall. She had been upstairs in their study working on the last of her paperwork when she heard the door slam open. At first, she didn't think much of it as her husband hadn't reacted at all. Though, after not hearing anything for a while she started getting worried and decided to venture downstairs. She wasn't pleased at all with what she saw and a part of her wished that it had been a burglar or something along the lines. Susan knew how to handle that better than the situation she saw in front of her now. Nonetheless, she joined her husband and child in the hug. Susan, being the tallest out of the family, acted like a blanket wrapped around her two boys

After calming down, Benjamin was fatigued and with the help of his father who didn't want to leave the boy's side, he made it up to his room and fell asleep almost instantly.
