"It has punishment of arresto mayor."
I'm in the middle of discussion when suddenly this student came in.
"Somera, you're late again."
"Sorry ma'am it was just-" I didn't let her finish.
"It was just traffic? 'Yan na naman rason mo?"
"Totoo naman po kasi ma'am." Tugon n'ya.
"At sumasagot ka pa."
"Alam mo namang laging traffic, sana maaga kang umalis sa bahay n'yo. You always miss half of my discussion. May matututuhan ka pa ba n'yan?" I added.
"M-meron pa naman po." Cole.
"Meron? Then answer my question. What is arresto mayor? Kung maaga kang dumating masasagot mo 'yan."
"Arresto mayor is 6 months imprisonment." She answered.
"Commonly applied in?" I ask again
"Commonly applied in minor offenses like defamation or paninirang puri." Cole.
"Good. You may now take a sit."
I continue discussing. And after I discuss, I gave them some lecture. Ilang ulit kong nahuling nakatingin sa'kin si Cole. There's really something mysterious in this student. Especially, the way she looked at me. Parang nang aakit.
Bago pa sila matapos mag sulat, the bell suddenly rang.
"That's all for today, class dismiss."
"I forgot, Somera, maiwan ka mag uusap tayo." Dagdag ko bago pa makalabas ng room si Cole.
Cole just sat there. Staring at me while I'm filling some papers. Saka lang s'ya nag salita nang makaalis na lahat ng kaklase n'ya.
"Ano pong pag uusapan natin?"
"About your grades. Dahil lagi kang late, puro quatro at tres grades mo sa'kin. Pag nag patuloy pa 'to, bibigyan na kita ng Sinco. Major subject n'yo ang hawak ko, tandaan mo 'yan." Sermon ko.
"Ano pong pwede kong gawin?" Cole.
"Mamayang pag tapos ng lahat ng klase n'yo, sumama ka sa'kin sa bahay ko. I will give you special make up lesson. Para hindi ka bumagsak."
"Opo."
Later than day, sumama sa'kin si Cole pauwi sa bahay ko. She's sitting on front sit so I can see her in my peripheral vision. She's staring at me. She's staring at me as if she can see my soul. I don't know if she's trying to seduce me with that look. Because she's biting her lips while looking at me. What the hell!
"We're already here." I said while unbuckling my seatbelt.
She suddenly hold my chin and turn my face in front of her.
"C-cole..."
"Sorry miss Divinagracia, akala ko may dumi ka sa muka mo." She said saka bumaba ng sasakyan.
"What's wrong with her?" I mumble to myself.
Pag pasok sa loob, I gave her snacks first. I got interested about her so I stalk her social media account.
"She's a daughter of a pilot pala."
"May sinasabi ka po?"
"Wala. Kumain ka na d'yan para makapag start na tayo."
