Chapter 8

After everyone left , me and Lilah went home , I nuged her to sit next to me on the bed . I pulled her into a hug ,"Thanks for trusting me ." She smiled ,"Always ." I smiled back ,"Guess its time for me to show all my cards , I'm the king of the Bloodmoon empire and now also the Alpha of the Westshire pack ." She tilted her head ,"And when did all this happen ?"

I took her hand ,"You know when I turned 18 I had to go to the Bloodmoon empire to go study ?" She nodded and I continued ,"Well , somehow my energy called out to my real parents who were at the time the king and queen of the empire . I didn't believe them at first but they showed me the powers I possessed and told me how I ended up in the orphanage . When I was born a group of rogues took me when they invaded the empire in an attempt to take it over . My parents lead the empire into war and we were victorius of course, but they searched everywhere for me for years but they couldn't find me . They decided to wait until we were close enough for our energies to connect and thats how it lead them to me ."

I took a deep breath and we both chuckled . I smiled ,"Its been three years and they have been training me and slowly they handed over the reins . I cant say it was easy but I had to take the throne , I am their only heir left ." She raised her eyebrows ,"Left ?" I nodded ,"My parents tried to have children after I was kidnapped but both of the children died during labour . My parents didn't try again fearing that my mother would die this time . They were so happy when they eventually found me ."

She hugged me tightly ,"So that's why you were so tired all the time ?" I chuckled ,"Yea but you are my strength , just when I think I cant do it anymore you prove me wrong and then I feel I can fight an army of 1000 men on my own ." She gave me a kiss on the cheek and I groaned ,"You like teasing me don't you ?"

She bit down on her lower lip and I nearly melted ,"Lilah , I might just lose control and mark you right now if you continue looking at me like that ." I whispered into her ear , she leaned closer and whispered ,"Then I'll keep looking at you like that ." My eyes shot up in suprise ,"Really ? You want me to mark you ?" She nodded and I didn't hesitate to pull her into a kiss , she kissed me back and I smiled . I pushed her down on the bed and she took a fist full of my hair . I growled with pleasure and she squirmed and moaned my name repeatedly.

I kissed her down her neck and she ran her hands down my back . I grazed my canines over her skin and she shuddered . I smirked and whispered ,"I love you Lilah ." And I sank my canines into her skin and I felt electricity dancing on my skin , I could hear her gasp , a slight moan escaped her lips and I groaned with pleasure .

After I pulled back I stared at her for a moment to make sure she was okay , she smiled at me and I pulled her into my chest . Oh how I wanted to do more than just marking her , but she would probably say that we're not married , yet .

I feel so popular today , first Chase's mom and now Lilah's parents . Lilah nearly shut the door in their faces but I stopped her , I wanted to know what they had to say for themselves . The atmosphere was tense , her mom was the first to break the silence ,"Hunter , why did you never tell us all of this , how did it happen ?" I snorted a laugh ,"Its not like you ever cared for me ."

Her dad looked down ,"Son , we're sorry ." I laughed ,"The only reason you're apologising is because I am the King of the Bloodmoon empire and now the Alpha of this pack , your afraid of banishment .And I am not your son ."

He stuttered ,"H-how did you know ?" I stared at him blankly ,"I can hear your thoughts , they are very loud ." His eyes bulged and he fell silent .I scratched my chin ,"We'll have to see what happens ." We all looked at the door as we heard someone clearing his throat, looks like Nick also decided to pay us a visit. So he decided to invite himself in ?

Brat .

He laughed like a psychopath ,"So your the king of the Bloodmoon empire ? King my ass !" He spat . This guy is starting to burn my chest hair . He kicked the table and winched ,

Yea , karma really is a bitch Nick .

I held back the urge to laugh as he cursed . Lilah's mom glared at him ,"Shut up Nick ! You have caused enough trouble already ." Nick snorted a laugh ,"This would never have happened if you didn't adopt him ."

Her dad scolded Nick ,"Count your words !" Nick rolled his eyes ,"And what about the fact that Hunter and Delilah are mates ? They are still siblings on paper ! Even though they are not blood related . My sister really is a whore ." That was the last straw for me , I banged my fist on the table and everyone except Lilah jumped in suprise. I glared at Nick ,"That's it ! I banish you from this pack and my empire , be gone by tomorrow morning ."

His parents tried to protest, I turned my gaze to them ,"He disrespected his King and his Alpha , I will not tolerate this any further ." Nick gasped ,"You can't really banish me can you ? Your joking right ?" I shook my head ,"Try me , would you still think I'm joking when I kick your ass out infront of the whole pack ?"

His eyes bulged ,"I was just kidding , I didn't really mean it ." I raised an eyebrow,"Oh really ? Didn't think it was very funny pal ."
