Chapter 7

Hunter ~

She continued ,"And we all have been through a rough patch , I have recently found out that my husband had a child with one of his mistresses years ago , to cover up the scandal Chase told everyone that she is his mate , we were shocked but it solved the problem ."

He lied to us ! Chase is so dead .

By the time the words escaped her mouth my eyes turned pitch black , I got up in a trance like state . Dinara grabbed my hand ,"Don't do something stupid ." I kept silent and she new that she couldn't stop me , I walked out the door like some kind of robot and I saw Chase's mom covering her mouth in horror .

She tried to say something but I was too enraged to care . I walked down the stairs and got into my car . I was so angry that I almost drove past the club , he always hangs out there . I got out and slammed the door so hard that the bartender dropped the tray of drinks , he knows me all too well .He stepped aside as I walked past the counter . The bouncer grabbed my arm but I turned around and twisted his wrist breaking his hand without blinking . He winched and I kicked him , he fell back on one of the tables breaking it .

I walked through the hall to the large pool table where he and his buddies were playing . Chase smiled ,"Hey Hunter , wanna join us ?" I stood motionless bubbling from within with fury . One of his pals ,  Devin aproached me and waved ,"You okay man ?" I grabbed his hand and threw him over my shoulder . He landed on his face and coughed some blood ,"What the hell ?"

Felix , Alan and Humfrey circled me and I hunched down grabbed Alan's leg and he fell to the ground . Felix swinged his fist , I ducked and he hit Humfrey .After I beat the shit out of them a while later I glanced over at them laying on the floor . I have broken many bones , mostly theirs  .

Chase eyes bulged ,"Mind explaining this ?" He pointed to his friends and the trashed room . I scratched my chin ,"You tell me . Why did you want to marry my mate and don't tell me shit or I'll rearrange every bone in your body ." He fell silent and I grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up ,"Cat got your tongue ?" He coughed ,"Its not like you love her more than me."

I tightened my grip and he was struggling to breathe ,"Your pathetic Chase ." I heard people rushing in but I couldn't care less . I heard a voice behind me ,"Are you planning on challenging him for the position of alpha ?" I growled and he fell silent . I heard murmuring behind me ,

"Is he ?"
"He might be , but how ?"
"You know how strong he is , he could easily beat Chase ."
"Beat an Alpha ?"

I used my power to make them fall on their knees and everyone immediately fell silent . I heard Chase's parents trying to get him to fight back but he couldn't move an inch because I paralyzed him , he could only move his eyes . I felt a hand on my shoulder and electricity crawled under my skin ,I took in her scent ,"Delilah ?" She gave me a hug from behind ,"What are you gonna do now , you need to decide everyone wants answers , they want to know what is gonna happen to their Alpha ." 

I kissed her forehead ,"I'm gonna challenge him for the position of Alpha." Her eyes shot up ,"But he's your friend ." I clenched my fist ,"Was my friend , untill he betrayed me ." She sighed ,"I know I can't stop you , but don't go too far with this." I snorted ,"Too far ? This is already personal ."

I turned to face the crowd ,"I King Hunter Roshire of the Bloodmoon empire challenge Alpha Chase of the Westshire pack for the position of Alpha ." Everyone gasped and you could even hear a pin drop , everyone had shocked expressions on their faces . I knew Lilah was also taken aback but she disguised it by putting on a proud smile . I knew she was burning with questions but she hid it very well.

She gave me her 'you have a lot of explaining to do' look and I turned my gaze to Chase whom was trying to mumble something .

I let go my hold on him and he fell to the ground , he was panting heavily . He got up and lunged towards me going for my throat , I grabbed him and tightened my grip around his neck . I threw him aside with all my force and he hit the wall , he stained the wall with his blood . I grabbed him by his hair ,"I'll let you live if you surrender and hand over your pack to me ." He coughed ,"I surrender ." I dropped him and he crawled around on the floor . I kept my gaze fixed on him ,"Say it ." He coughed up some blood ,"I Alpha Chase of the Westshire pack herby give my title as Alpha and my pack over to . . ."

I was so amused ,"Say it in full formality , you know how it works ." He winched ,"To King Hunter Roshire of the Bloodmoon empire ." Everyone bowed down out of their own will , I held Lilah's hand and whispered "I'll explain everything ." She an eyebrow and nodded , I turned to a limping Chase ,"I want you out of this pack by tomorrow morning ."
