Raging Hunter

Chapter 4

I could feel that Hunter was on the edge , he bravely got up and raised his hand ,"I agree with you Alpha Chase ." He winked at me and I blushed .

My best friends Romy , Abby , Ryan and Michael also got up and raised their hands which made me smile . I also stepped forward to raise my hand . Abby was looking at Chase with teary eyes , they are also mates .

One by one the hands went up and I could feel that the pack's spirit has returned . Hope was there .

Everyone cheered as even some of the elders raised their hands , Hunter ran to me and lifted me in the air ,"I missed you , beautiful ." A tear rolled down my cheeks as I looked at him ,"I thought that you were gonna do something stupid when you got up ."

He looked into my eyes as he chuckled ,"I was thinking about that but then I remembered that Chase also has a mate so we both felt the same about the situation ." I raised an eyebrow ,"Since when did you become so wise ass ?" His lips formed a straight line ,"I almost lost you today , that nearly drove me insane . I hate to admit it because it sounds so cheesy but , you are my sanity ."

He sighed ,"Those two weeks really took a toll on me , I nearly lost my wolf ." My eyes grew wide ,"What ?!" He pulled me into a hug and kisses my forehead ,"Don't worry about that for now , we need to get going ."

We left the party and Hunter helped me into his car . I tilted my head ,"Where are we going ?" He grinned and took my hand as he sat in the driver's seat ,"You'll see ."

We drove in silence but it was peaceful , I was still taking in what had happened today . Hunter took my hand ,"You okay ?" I smiled ,"More than okay . Did today really happen , or was I dreaming ?" He chuckled ,"No , it did happen and it didn't end in a bloodbath . Thats the longest I ever resisted trashing a place ."

I chuckled ,"I'm glad you didn't , I'm proud of you ." As the car stopped he turned to me ,"Close your eyes ." He whispered huskily. I closed them and he gently helped me out of the car . He stood behind me holding my waist as he leaned to kiss my neck ,"You can open them ."

As I opened my eyes I saw fairy lights all over the place , we were somewhere in the forest from what I could make out ,"Wow , did you do all this by yourself  ?"

He nodded ,"Yea , to show you how much I missed you . And also . . ." He paused and gave me a peck on the lips ,"I realised that I never officially asked you to be my girlfriend . . . Sooo , will you please make me the happiest wolf in the million realms and be my girlfriend ?"

I held my hand to my mouth and smiled widely ,"Of course I'll be your girlfriend !" I jumped and hugged him tightly , he chuckled ,"Shall we go in now ?"

We walked towards a large wooden cabin , it looked like something from a fairy tale. He grinned ,"Want me to carry you over the threshold ?" I snorted ,"Just because I'm in a wedding dress doesn't-"

Within a split second he picked me up bridal style and carried me in . He also made me bump my head on the way in . I hit his chest ,"Hey ! That was my head ." He patted my head ,"That better ?" I gave him an annoyed look and he chuckled ,"Sorry , but I probably need to practice if we are gonna get married one day ."

I tilted my head ,"We're still young you know ." He made a pretend sad face ,"But I want many children ." I chuckled ,"How many ?" He pretended to think for a bit ,"About ten atleast ." My eyes grew wide ,"Which you are gonna carry ?"

He grinned ,"Oh come on , wont you just love a big family ?" I smiled ,"Yea , but not ten , maybe two ." He scratched his chin ,"How about nine ?"

I snorted ,"Two ."

"Eight?" He asked with puppy dog eyes ,

"Three ." I said raising my eyebrow

"Seven ?" He asked and pouted

"Four ." I was starting to get worried

"Five ?" He asked , I paused for a moment and he grinned from ear to ear .

He basically jumped up and down from exitement ,"So we agree to five ?" I sighed ,"Maybe , but why so many ?" He looked a bit down falling silent , I put my arm around him realising what was bothering him ,"You okay ?" He noddded ,"Its just , I didn't have a family when I was still in the orphanage . I never new my family and everytime I see see a happy family I wonder if I would ever have one ."

I hugged him tightly ,"Of course we will have that big family one day , and then when they are older they can also bring their mates and their children and we could get together for the holidays ."I kissed him on his cheek , he gave a wide smile ,"We should probably take a shower and get you out of that wedding dress ."

I shot him a look ,"We ?" He nodded ,"Yes , we ." I bit down on my lower lip to think ,"Fine , but no funny business or I'll kick your ass out the shower ." He chuckled ,"Yes ma'am ." He paused and grinned ,"I'll try my best ."
