Part 7

Melinas POV
Me and Robin were dazing off to sleep when I hear a clatter scaring the shit out of me

Robin Wakes up from my loud gasps and flinches too when we both look at the grabber who sits on the ground near the mattress looking at us

we notice the upper part of his mask Missing giving us a perfect look of his eyes,eyebrows and hair

As he still look at us I feel my stomach hurting noticing that I haven't eaten in a long time

„I'm hungry .... we need food" I say with a morning voice

His eyes shift to Robin completely ignoring me

„how are your eyes?"

„Not good because I can now see your ugly ass face"Robin snarls at him

His eyes begin to water as he puts his hands to his heart fake whimpering
„Well that hurt"

„hmm...well I can't bring you anything to eat , you will have to wait."
He says while standing up

„why? Is there someone upstairs who can see you bring us food?" I ask him while my eyes follow his moves

„don't you worry about That" he goes out and begins to close the door

„if you weren't going to feed us then why did you even come down here?" Robin says with his raspy morning voice making my stomach flutter But not from starving this time

I ignore it and the grabber stares into our souls before answering

„i just wanted to look at you" he whispers slowly

I look at him in disbelief now realizing that this man has a serious problem and that I should be more scared off him than I already am

He closes the door and I'm so shocked and scared that i feel tears coming out of my eyes

Robin POV
I hear sniffing and look at Melina just to see tears coming out of her eyes Knowing that she is just overwhelmed

Unsure I hug her from the side and she lays her shoulder on my chest making me blush a little As I just look away so she doesn't notice it

„It's okay mel. Im right here" I say and try to comfort her by rubbing my hand on her back
(The nickname 😩)

We turn our heads as the telephone rings

She wipes her tears away and stands up grabbing the telephone as I stand up grabbign her shoulders to keep me steady and put my ears to the outside of the phone wanting to listen

We both begin to blush from the sudden electricity that came from our bodies But both focus on the phone again being nervous

„Hello? Is somebody there? .....
We need help..... " she says but still silence

„Hello?" she tries again

„Melinaaaaa"we hear a whisper and both get scared so much that Melina hangs up the phone as we gasp

„Are you okay?" I ask

She looks at me and nods as the phone rings again

We are both too mad thinking that we are getting played and i rush to pick the phone up and put it back again so the annoying ringing stops

As no one of says anything waiting for the telephone to ring again

And that's excactly what it does again

Ringing

This time louder as mel goes up to it and answers again but with confidence

I put my ear on it again

„don't hang up." the boy whispers seriously this time

„We won't.... Who is this?" says Melina

We both get curious but again disappointed when the voice talks again
„I don't remember my name"

„why not" she asks

„its the first thing you lose" he says making me and Melina get goosebumps

„First thing to lose when?" She whispers as her voice shakes

„you know when."

„How do you know my name?"

„we Met once"he says and mel looks at me confused

„We looked at eachother once at my game"

„Finns arm is mint"

„Bruce...." I whisper at her As we both remember that sentence from the game

„you didn't smile back"

„Bruce ? .....
Bruce Yamada?"  she asks him shaking as I put my hand on her warm back to calm her down

„yeah.... Bruce " he says feeling unfamiliar but at the same time familiar with that name

„Im Bruce." he says more confidently making me smile sad

„Finns arm is mint" he repeats again Making mel's eyebrows go up

„you didn't smile back"

„did the phone ring for you?"she says ignoring what he said

„it rang but none of us heard it, just you...
the grabber Hears the phone too but he doesn't wanna believe it"
I suddenly think about how lucky we are To hear it

„Why are you calling us?"

„Finns arm is mint"

„you didn't smile back" he repeats those two sentences again

„I'm glad it's you"
 
We both look forward in silence still not believing it

„Melina?"

„Yeah" she whispers

„There's a dirt section of the floor in the hallway where the tile is lose , dig down underneath the foundation , I tried but there wasn't enough time for me to dig up and get out the other side"

We both look to where he talks about on the ground

„Will we have Enough Time Bruce?" she asks and we hear a click making me sigh

„Hello?" she ask and panics

„Bruce?"

„Bruce?" she says as her eyes water but she blinks  to not let the tears fall

thinking of how of a god human Bruce was makes us both sad

She puts the telephone in its socket and hugs me

I get flustered but then I hug her back while I sooth my hands over her hair

„He didn't deserve this" she sniffs

„We don't deserve it too" I say comforting her

And we lay down on the mattress
As she turns her head to the side that makes her see the phone above her

I turn to her side making me see her long shiny hair as I grab a strand and Play with it hoping she doesn't Notice

But that doesn't last long because the sound of the door opening makes us both stand up fast
