Things hadn't exactly been going smoothly with Kit, when taking his pills, he had noticed that his thirst hadn't exactly gone away. So because of the annoyance that being thirsty caused him, he killed someone to drink. Being a vampire was tough but he knew that he could handle it. After all he had been born that way, born as a despicable being, one only shown in horror movies or romance novels. it made him sick. One day in late October the boys of class 3-C were forced inside during their PE lesson due to a heavy thunder storm, they were given 2 choices of activities; Dodgeball and Basketball (both terrible according to Kits very amazing opinion). In the end the vote landed on Dodgeball (just great) Everyone started dividing into teams once the captains has been chosen, team 1,2,3 and 4, unfortunately, their PE teacher seemed to just have it in for him and made the captains choose their teams. And of course he was picked only when the only people left were terrible at sports and weird kids. He was picked (very) surprisingly by Connor, who had been watching him all through the construction of his own team. The rest of the class divided, and the teams to be playing first would be 1 and 4, he was relieved that he didn't have to go first but he knew he would eventually that thought made him bitter. incredibly so, but he was still befuddled as to why Connor had picked him, not once had he ever even talked to him, he settled for it merely being a last resort.

Soon came their chance to play as Mr Cassidy called to the room at large, "teams 2 and 3 next lads! winner stays on!" Kit got up feeling his stomach roll nervously as he said goodbye to his good day and went to stand against the wall.

Connor and another boy by the name of Michael ran to retrieve the dodgeballs from their cones and fling them at the wall, once they were back in their hands, Connor turned and lobbed the ball hitting their team captain in the stomach straight of the bat, he was so distracted by sudden defeat that he failed to notice the ball hurtling towards him, but before he could get hit he turned with one hand raised and caught the foam ball, he looked at his hand then chucked the ball to another boy on their team knowing a failsafe way of getting out was to chuck it back, the rest of the game passed in a blur he caught 5 balls though, and though he wouldn't admit it he was proud, Connor really carried the game though, taking people out in single throws and catching every ball thrown his way, it was almost scary.

At the end of the lesson they had to run from the gym to the Changing rooms, it was still raining heavily, and when they had reached the changing rooms they all trooped inside their hair dripping wet.

as he was walking to French, he heard a husky voice behind him, "You played really well today, how did you get that good at catching?" He looked up and saw Connor watching him with a smooth expression he replied, "I'm not that good," He laughed awkwardly not knowing why connor would even engage in conversation with him, he usually avoided him at all costs. "hmm okay then." Connor said this and walked off, and if it hadn't of been raining Kit probably would have stopped walking in confusion, now that was closer to the way Connor usually spoke to him. He brushed off the encounter and hurried off to French dreading the next hour.
