Sticky Situations (Kits POV)

JUST SO PEOPLE KNOW THIS IS IN DEGREES CELCIUS NOT FARENHEIGHT :D ALSO THIS WILL BE USING SLANG FROM ENGLAND :D

It was soon nearing Halloween, and Kit had no idea what he was going to do for the holiday, yes he has put up his not so impressive decorations but, he almost knew he wouldn't do anything else. He walked to school staring at the sky, it was clear and the sun was warm against his skin, again he found himself being glad that unlike in the stories, sunlight had no effect on him.

Once he got into his form room and sat, he noticed that Connor was not in his usual place bedside him, it wasnt like him to be late. He didn't really care though, Connor was often a jerk to him, so no, he did not mind in the slightest. He stared dejectedly out the window, evidently sulking, he didn't know why he was however, maybe the fact that the weather had gotten overcast in the span of half an hour, it had dropped from 10 to 7 degrees. "Hi," he looked round and Connor was sitting in his usual seat watching him curiously, "oh um hi," He smiled slightly and Connor who was still watching him, he seriously couldn't tell whether Connor was trying to play with his emotions at this point, he stroked his teeth with his tongue and the dark look Connor usually wore returned and he looked away his lips pressing into a hard line like he was trying not to scowl (what a moods swing).

He went back to looking out the window with a cool expression, when Connor spoke once more, "Hey kit?"

"hm" he responded coolly (I'm still in a mood from your mood swings Connor)

"well I'm having a Halloween party well on the 31st and i was wondering whether you wanted to go," Kit froze in his seat surprise rendering him speechless for another few seconds (why me? i thought he had other friends?) "um kit? you good? if you dont wanna go just say, i wont get offended," he looked slightly disappointed nethertheless, "Oh no- i mean yeah i would like to go that would be really cool thanks for asking me!" He felt awkward but also in shock, why had he asked him? And what was with the sudden friendliness? "Thats cool! Its at 9:00 by the way and I'm kicking any stragglers out at 5:00am," Connor said this with a smile in his voice, "Its also a costume party so come in the most stupid outfit you got," he said this while softly laughing, Kit made a mental note not to show up in anything stupid just incase it was a trap, though he didn't believe it was. (i am going to Connors party, and he wanted me to go, he asked me whether i wanted to go-)

Kit was still in a good mood an hour later as he walked to break, He headed straight for the fifth floor bathroom to take his pills, he was getting fairly thirsty, as he walked in and looked in the mirror he froze, what would he do about his eyes! During the daylight hours his eyes where a reddish brown colour, but at night they were a startling bright red, the answer came to him that he would just go as a vampire, but he still felt uneasy as he took his pill, just as he put it into his mouth someone walked in, Connor almost froze in the doorway, then he walked in fast and asked, "what are you taking?" he looked suspicious, "um- ibfru-cetemol," (well I'm fucked) "dont lie to me. what the hell are you taking." He seriously didn't know what to say at this point so he blurted out the first thing in his mind, "Fentanyl." (oh fuck I'm done) Connor looked him up and down confused, "did you have an operation or something?" (oh for gods sake of course he knows what it is) "no, I'm just taking it." (I'm making a real mess of this aren't I?) "Why the hell are you taking it then? do you know how strong that shit is?!" He inquired this looking incredulous, "Yeah i know- i just- um-," (well there goes the party invite) "Uh, okay then. By the way if you need help with something you can talk to me." Connor then turned and walked out the room, (well thats great he thinks I'm depressed now. wonderful)
