I look around the building trying to get a grasp of the area. I needed to find a way in without looking suspicious. Everyone was dressed in cult like robes 'where can I find those?' I won't be able to walk around until I get one will I? "Tsk damn this place is huge."
There seemed to still be construction going on here. Meaning finding an opening shouldn't actually be too hard.
The area seemed unstable, but I managed to get in through a window. Although I still need to watch my step. This area of the building seemed off limits...maybe because it wasn't complete. I needed to get into the main part.
Soon I came across what appeared to be a closet. It was filled with robes of different sizes. 'This'll do' I grab one that seemed right about my size before putting it on.
I look down at the card that I was given ahead of time. It needed to be activated. 'Where would that be?' I look around now noticing it was a bit bright meaning I was probably in the main building. 'The information room' that is where it would be.
It was night so I would assume that everyone is asleep well most. Considering that I saw a few wondering ones. It'd be trouble if I run into one of them.
Everywhere seemed to look the same, but somehow I managed to find a map on the wall. The information room isn't far. There were more people now. Maybe this place is more heavily monitored... I sneak around the corner trying to find an opening. 'There...'
Everyone had randomly left briefly which seemed alarming, but it was my only chance to get in. I should try walking in normally otherwise I may look suspicious if someone catches me from the corner of their eye. Hopefully no one asks me for my identification.
The room was dark, and was filled with a lot of technology...the type of tech that I haven't seen since the agency incident. I needed to get this information into the system.
"No one is allowed in here at this moment." I freeze at the voice. I slowly turn around as the man comes over. "Why are you here?" He was...tall. His height made him slightly intimidating to say the least.
"I'm a bit lost."...The most used excuse, but it's sometimes works. Maybe it'll work on these weirdos. "I'm looking for my room is all." He slightly sighs before mumbling something.
"Let me see your identification." Well what a way to get caught...I lift the card hoping he'd believe me. He took the card before staring down at me.
"You two," he turns his head to the side. I began trying to move away, but my wrist is quickly grabbed. "No one is supposed to be here right now."
"Sorry, a new recruit needs assistance using their identification card. I must look into it. It won't take long." He spoke as held onto my wrist tightly.
"What is your number?"
"A306."
...
I sigh as I fall back onto the bed....there were quite a few empty rooms...seems like they're planning on bringing in a lot more... Although this room was just a simple one. A single bed, a closet, and a desk with a chair. I take off the robe discarding it.
I close my eyes thinking back at what had happened. That one seemed off. Did he really believe my ID was just not functioning. He didn't bring anything about it up after giving it back. That one...I should probably be careful of him. Although he did tell me something's about this place.
"I suggest since you're a new recruit to get along with everyone, and not draw any attention to yourself. People around here like to gossip a lot, and drawing too much attention to yourself may cause some to believe you're corrupt...I would also suggest you stay away from the high figures here."
He said nothing the explain the last part before leaving.
"Ring Ring pick up!" I slightly jump at the muffled voice, but it sounded familiar. I quickly opened my bag. "Ring Ring pick up!" It was the phone. I quickly answer, "oh! We have connected! Um testing one two three... on the count of three yell out Ice cream!"I stared down, "One...two...three!"
"Ice cream?" So odd...
"Hmm it wasn't what I was expecting, but I can hear you! O-Oh! W-Wait!" I could hear shuffling.
"Give me a second! I want to talk to her. Nari!" I sigh as I hear Viktor's voice.
"Viktor it's nice to hear your voice..." I could feel a smile
"Why did you just leave me here? If it's too dangerous than you can have me help you..." his voice trailed off. He was hurt wasn't he...
"Viktor I've gone into worse things before so I'm alright. Besides I won't be gone long...I'll be back soon." I slightly laugh.
"...You better...because if you don't then...I won't forgive you for leaving me here without saying a goodbye....Actually you also need to return back with fish shaped buns too!" I laugh.
"Sure. I will. Freshly made too."
"...alright...umm Seven wants to talk with you." He still sounded hurt.
There was a small silence before I heard from the other side.
"Well well I can see that you made it there Nari."
"It was really far away, and the place is odd, but yes I made it."
"Oh? You're cutting off. I guess the connection really isn't that great....well I don't know if you can hear me well or not, but you should still be very careful because the hacker is definitely there, a hacker that was able to push Viktor like that is dangerous. Viktor is one of the best so it surprised me when I heard about what had happened...stay on guard."
The hacker...
