Once I got away from him I headed to meet up with my friends and I swear that I was sore. I was able to sneak past Ivan but when I found Marie and Nadia they were seeming to smile. "So how did it go?" Nadia asked as I looked at them. "It went well...very well.." I said as they looked at me but I only smiled.
Nadia looked at me in shock as she realized "So he went that far and you seem to be fine." Nadia said as I laughed a bit. "He wants me back there tonight." I admitted as they nudged me but I neglected to mention to them he wasn't using protection on me. "So he knows, when is he going to..ya know" Marie said as she looked around and mouth "expose you" I just shook my head as I knew he wasn't. "Not right now, not anytime soon. He finds me amusing to have to himself right now." I admitted yet I had to adjust my legs some with how sore I felt.
"People would wish to be you..but uh was he rough?" Marie asked as I nod not trusting my voice. I felt so good yet sore because of him as Nadia laughed a bit seeing I let him have his way even if I was sore later. "Can we join in next time?" Nadia asked jokingly but I didn't want to share him. "No." I said which got both of them looking at me but I knew Nadia was seeming more into women and I just didn't want to risk something weird happening.
Still after I walked around and worked out the soreness there was nothing stopping me and I trained with the Tidemakers as usual but then I walked to Baghra's hut. When I walked in she didn't seem to suspect anything at first but then as soon as I sat down she smacked my arm good. "Hey!" I said as I looked at her.
"I have your every move watched during the fete, till the day you are discovered and I hear you went into the General's war room." Baghra said as I knew she didn't know he was my secret Grisha Penpal within the little palace. "So? He had some questions." I said of course I didn't have the ring on.
I knew that it was not going to be easy but she seemed to buy it for now and I relaxed while I did the training. I was satisfied and then when I sat down I heard it fall out of my pocket. I looked down spotting the ring as I reached for it but then Baghra got it first using shadows as I looked at her. "Hey, that's mine." I said
Baghra was looking it over examining it as she noticed the color "It's black..his color." Baghra said as she looked at me. I reached for it taking it back but instead of putting it in my pocket again I slid it right on my finger where it belonged. "Yes, it's mine. My gift from the one I was writing with." I said as I clenched my hand into a fist. If she was going to yell I'd be ready for her.
"He's the one you were writing with..do you realize what you've done?" Baghra asked as I knew exactly what I'd done. "He's not..going to expose me." I said as she looked at me but I didn't care. "What he wants is your power, you can't trust him." "You're wrong!" I yelled as I stood up and looked at her knowing it wasn't going to help either way. "He doesn't want my power and he doesn't want me known to the royals yet." I said
Baghra merely contemplated my words when it came down to my power, the look she had was that of a mother hearing something new about her son. It dawned on me then that was why she said those things. "He's your son.." I said as Baghra looked at me. "He is but he's so much more than that. You have no idea who you're dealing with and if you want to know you better ask him yourself." Baghra said
She's right..who am I sleeping with? He's the General but if he's Baghra's son then he's older than he looks..but he said that in the letters. Yet he said his secrets I would be privileged to knowing but not on paper. I thought
I left Baghra's hut the moment I thought about that last part and went to find him. I did find him in his war room where I closed the door behind me and he ran over to me. "Amira, what's wrong?" Aleksander asked as I saw him raise a hand to my cheek and I thought about slapping it. "Who are you?..Who are you really?" I asked
Aleksander looked at me as he realized Baghra must have said something when he pulled me close as his eyes looked into mine. "I did promise you privilege to my secrets..but I wanted to wait till you're ready." Aleksander said as I looked in his eyes knowing that it was true. "You know my first name, it's my real name." Aleksander said as he rubbed my cheek with his thumb "But the last name you've known me as isn't my last name. Something you'll have to do after a hundred years fake your death and change your last name..but never change your first name. Amira is such a pretty name."
I looked at him wondering what he meant by that as if something was being unsaid. "Tell me. Or this morning is the last time.." I said as I felt my body react to my words with disgust that I'd said that when he felt so good. Aleksander looked at me as he smirked seeing me being resistant to my own words as his mouth came close to mine. "Oh no Amira..this morning will not be the last but I'll tell you." He said as his lips kissed my neck "I'll tell you while I have you again." I bit my lip to try to resist the noise threatening to come out.
