I woke up to find myself in a dark room. I can tell that I was on a bed and I have a blanket over me. I couldn't see anything.
"Kei?" I called out, but no answer. Suddenly, I heard a sorry open, but I still can't see any light.
"Amelia, it's going to alright." I heard Kei say with a very serious tone.
"What? Why?" I asked, starting to panic. "What's going on? Why can't I see anything?"
"It's fine, but promise me you won't freak out if I tell you what going on, okay?" Kei said as I felt him hug me.
'Please don't be what I think it is.'
"Amelia," Kei whispered. "You're blind."
"N-No..." I was speechless. I hated this. I don't want to be blind.
"Hey," Kei said. I couldn't see him, but I know he's beside me. "You're eyes turned into a beautiful violet colour again."
"Now's not the time." I said in a repulsive tone.
"Alright, but you'll get used to it. I promise." Kei said as I sensed that he walked away.
I sat there, on a bed, that I didn't know the colour of. There was a blanket over me, that I could only feel the texture on fleece and nylon.
"Amelia!!!" I heard a girl with a familiar voice say. I waited there quietly as I heard her footsteps come towards me. "Are you okay? Kazumi-kun told me everything!! What happened?? Is it true that you can't see--"
"Shut up, Chiharu." I heard another girl walk towards me. I can tell they were both side by side.
"Onee-chan, that hurts...." Chiharu said.
"Don't go asking people questions they can't answer. That's rude." Hotaru said to her sister.
"You know," I started as I caught their attention. "You two must be pretty happy."
"Huh?" Chiharu gave a confused expression.
"What do you mean?" Hotaru asked.
"I still remember the story." I smiled. "When you two became sisters."
"It was in the middle of August." I heard Ryuuji from the doorway as he walked towards me and turned for a chair.
"Yeah, it was. Chiharu told me all about it." Kumori as he was walking with Ryuuji.
It was the middle of August. A rainy day, with people wishing it to be sunny. A little girl with long light brown hair and bright green eyes sat down on a bench, crying out loud. Another girl that has her long, dark brown hair, tied up into a ponytail and her cool and collected golden eyes showed n emotionless impression.
She walked by and noticed the little girl crying. She was dripping wet from the rain and her tears. It made her beautiful green eyes seem gloomy, despite the gloomy rain.
"What's wrong?" The girl asked the one crying.
"M-My Onee-chan... She left me here and hasn't returned for me." She said as she cried harder.
The girl felt pity on the girl. No, not pity, but something that felt like she was guilty. Like she was feeling worse than sorry. The girl bent down and embraced her tightly in her arms.
"Onee-chan is right here."
