8: 🍨Mint Choco 🍨

Jungkook was working on a file when his secretary rushed inside his office.

"Kook Mr. Kim called just now . He said  he wants to reschedule tomorrow's meeting "

"OK did he told you when ?"

"Yes he said today and at 3 pm in the suncity park. Where's your phone he said he texted you . You didn't replied so he called here." She asked.

"Oh looks like I left it at home ."

"Seriously Kook " Mina said with a huff.

"Hehe I'll leave now ."

Jungkook left his office. He was surprised when Mina told him the place . They have  so far met 3 to 4 times alredy but all of them were either in that same Cafe or in his office . He noticed Taehyung is always so professional, never talking about anything else oh , apart from those moments Jungkook caught the older staring at him with something in his eyes that he can't get a hold of .

Back to present , Jungkook stopped his car infront of his apartment . Unlocking the door he went inside and found his phone lying in the dining table.
He noticed all the text he got , from Taehyung and some of them from his mom . He opened her chat .

Pick hyunie from school . And that's it no greetings nothing else just her order. Jungkook chuckled at his misery . He then opened Taehyung's chat to see all the things his secretary just told him but in a more professional way if that makes sense. Checking the time he left for his destination, that is hyun's school . He needs to drop him home before the meeting . He is not sure if Taehyung will appreciate his brother's presence there.

But not everything goes as it's planned beforehand. That why Jungkook is there infront of his brother's school trying to coax his brother.

"Hyunie not today I'll take you to the park tomorrow. Promise."

"Nuuu . I want to go today please." His brother said showing his best puppy eyes .

"Hyunie try to understand I've a meeting..." Jungkook sighed looking at his brother's teary eyes  "okay fine let's go ."

"Yeahhhhhh hyung hurry up Ari is already there with his dada ."

"Oh so that's the reason you want to go today ." Jungkook said adjusting hyun in the car seat .

After 10 minutes of drive he pulled his car infront of the park . And soon entered the park holding his brother's hand.

"Hyun where is Ar... " he stopped in middle after spotting Ari with a man whose back was facing them .

"Hyun look Ari is with his father I think ? let's go . Also I'll be right here don't go far okay ?"

"Okay mommy" Hyun said giggling afterwards.

"Hmm I'll see you later" Jungkook replied with a fake offended face.

"Ari" Hyun ran towards them catching her attention.

"Hyunie" Ari said as excited as him.

Jungkook was looking at the two best friend interacting with each other when he remembered the presence of another male .
He looked up properly to greet Ari's dad or who ever he is, only to find Taehyung looking at him with soft eyes which turned cold immediately.

'What is he doing here with Ari?'

He thought aloud he said ,

"Hi I'm sorry I have to bring my brother with me . He won't create any trouble tho I'm sure. I hope you are okay with this....." Jungkook rambled.

"Shh you talk too much" Taehyung said with amusement.   Jungkook looked down in embarrassment.

"Come let's sit somewhere.  I'm pretty sure they don't need us anymore. " Taehyung added with a deep chuckle that successfully sent a shiver through the younger's body .

"And don't apologize I also brought Ari."

"OK"  Jungkook replied suppressing the curiosity to ask about their relation.

"By the way she is my daughter." Jungkook gasped internally at the new found information.

Daughter? Does that mean he is married? Then why did he said he knows nothing about marriage

"Hey earth to you  Jungkook-shi." Taehyung snapped a finger infront his face bringing him back to present.

"Ohh yeah let's just Start the discussion ." He said and followed the older to a nearby bench.

They were so engrossed in their little meeting that they didn't noticed two little figures approaching them .

"Hyung ice cream?" Hyun asked tugging Jungkook's suit and showing his best puppy eyes . Ari doing the same with Taehyung.

"Hyun no...."

"Okay my treat" he looked at his side to see Taehyung grinning at Hyun and Ari.

"What ?" Jungkook asked not believing his eyes .

'Wow his smile!! Damn so pretty '

"What ? I'm going to buy us icecream."

"You don't have to...."

"Come with me and help carrying them ."

Taehyung started waking to the icecream shop without waiting for a reply . He looked back only to notice Jungkook following him with a adorable pout which made him chuckle silently.

"What flavor ?" Taehyung asked standing infront of the different flavored icecream displayed in the shop.

"Umm hyunie likes chocolate "

"Okay and you ?" He asked again.

"Huh.." Jungkook asked dumbfounded

"I mean we were already pretty much done with the discussion so let's take a break. It's okay if you don't..."

"Mint choco" He replied cutting Taehyung's nervous rumble.

Taehyung snorted at the answer

"Seriously we are here to buy icecream and you want frozen toothpaste."

"Hey!! It's not frozen toothpaste.  You should try it first before judging it." Jungkook protested.

"Whatever you say toothpaste lover ." Taehyung teased further.

"Shut up I'm not ....." Jungkook stopped mis sentence realizing what he just said . He looked at the older's face to see him looking intently at him with a raised eyebrow

'Hot . Wait what no he is not hot . Focus Jungkookiee focus .'

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to.." and again he was cut by the laughter of none other than Kim Taehyung.

"You ..you are cute " Taehyung said absent-mindly in between his laughter. Though it soon died realizing what he just said .

"Uh let's go before this melts down."
Taehyung said clearing his throat and headed towards the park without waiting for a reply .

Jungkook who is now blushing at the unexpected compliment followed him soon after.
