16: 😞Ignorance 😞

"Ari!!" hyun cried overjoyed to find his friend here "let's go play" he said dragging her to the playroom which was initially made for him .

Looking at the father son duo Taehyung decided to give them some privacy so he also went with them.

"Hey son ! You okay ? Where have you been , me and your mom were so worried for you ." Mr. Jeon said .

"Was she now. But last time I called you she made it clear that both of you no longer wants to do anything with me and  i quote my 'petty mom'."

"What do you mean kook ? we were worried, I was worried, that's why I came here today see ."

"Exactly Today . Where were you yesterday ? do you even remember what day it was yesterday ?" He questioned voice rising a bit .

"What day it was ...oh oh I forgot I am really busy with work these days." He excused

"These days ?" Jungkook scoffed. "You have been busy with work since forever. You were busy when I had a high fever remember No you don't cause you were busy but she, my mom was there taking care of me all night ."

"Kook you're being petty now " The man said .

"Oh!! am i now but according to your wife me and my mom had been that since forever ."

"You are insulting her without any reason kook ..."

"Without any reasons ? Is it not enough that she made my childhood days miserable plush called my mom names ? is it not enough when she made me do all the chores when I had a damn fever ? is it not enough that she once she tried to kill me by cutting my wrist only because I ate extra that day ? Is it still not enough dad ? By the way I'm sure you didn't knew any of this why ?because you were busy.  And now you came all worried for your son after 10 whole years of ignorance , 10 years of mental and physical abuse of my own step mom , now you are worried huh Mr. Jeon " Jungkook cried out.

"Kook listen I...I really had no idea about any of this . Why didn't you told me earlier ?" Mr. Jeon defended .

"Oh really ? Remember when I told you I didn't like her and you said I'll get used to her . And how many times you had sit with me and asked me about my feelings the answer is 0. Never once you heard me and guess why is that ? because you were busy and Now that I'm telling you I'm being petty huh "

"I'm sorry ..."

"Save your apology Mr. I don't need it anymore.  I'm tired now , tired of acting like a good perfect son who never quistions you . I'm tired" he said , voice breaking at the end . "Just leave , leave me and my mom alone ."

"Hey you can't just cut me off like that.." Mr. Jeon said desperately.

"I just did . Didn't you heard me ? or maybe your wife made you deaf the way she blinded your vision ." Jungkook laughed through his tears .

"Kook hey listen .."

"No you listen whatever I have told you is a result of years of ignorance and poor behavior. It's too late for you to beg for my apologies . I can't suddenly forgive your actions because you were remembered father duties."

"I'm your dad Jungkook give me a..."

"It took you 10 years to remember you're my dad," he chuckled bitterly "But let me tell you , you have completely failed as a dad . You never once stayed with me when I needed you the most and look at Taehyung on the other side, whom I met hardly a month ago , he was there for me yesterday and before that whenever I cried, he assured me, hugged me, gave me warmth, lulled me back to sleep when I whimpered in my sleep." Jungkook finished and took a deep breath his vision is getting foggy by the newly formed tears . But the moment he lost his balance he was held back by no other than Taehyung who was standing in the doorstep awkwardly not knowing what to do .
