13: 🍁Picnic 🍁

It's been a week after the Namjin couple's wedding. After that both Taehyung and Jungkook were so caught up with work that they couldn't make time for the date . But they would call each other every night and talk for hours , sometimes Ari joins them .

For Taehyung, this days it's more hectic in work since Jin is in a leave so he has to take more work loads . So the call time with Jungkook are like heaven . The younger always somehow manages to make his nighttime brighter.

And for Jungkook it's not much different. After dealing with different kind of clients everyday Taehyung's deep melodic voice always calms him down. But , he is still lost about what to arrange for the next date though, the only thing he is sure about is , that he doesn't want it to be in some expensive restaurants . And damn he never felt this lost before . He asked Mina but her ideas are as always, crazy. So he asked his other best friend Jimin who has more experience with this things. And all it took was to show his puppy eyes for Jimin to spill the precious beans .

"Hmmmm . Well Taehyung is stressed with work this days so you can arrange something that will give him comfort also make sure to bring some food he's been skipping meals this days ." Jimin told him. 

And after some more thinking he got the idea of a night picnic in a secluded beach . So ,he prepared everything for that – a picnic basket with homemade foods , some strawberries which is Taehyung's favorite , some of his own baked cookies and lastly some wine to relax in the moment.

It was at around 6pm when Taehyung got the call from the reception .

"Hello" he placed the receiver in between his shoulder and ear , busy checking the file his secretary gave him.

"Mr. Kim Someone named Jeon Jungkook said he is waiting outside in the parking lot for you ." The lady informed.

"What ? who's waiting " Taehyung asked leaving the file and holding the receiver in his hand .

"Jeon Jungkook,  sir ." She said voice laced with professionalism.

"I'm coming ." He ended the call and quickly got up from his chair . Taking his coat from the couch he went to the huge glass window to check one last time and indeed Jungkook is there in the parking lot leaning against his car .
So, he quickly called his secretary to cancel all the meetings for the day.

When he entered the elevator a lots of questions were clouding his mind 'why is Jungkook here at this hour ? Is everything okay ? what if he no longer wants to go on dates me ?' He checked his phone for any texts from the younger but nothing new in there. They exchanged Good Mornings in the mornings as usual and the younger didn't said anything like this .

When he went out of the building Jungkook had already noticed him and straightened his posture giving him his signature bunny smile .

"Hey!" Taehyung said now standing right infront of him "you didn't told me you are coming ."

"Well , remember about our second date ?"

"Ahh yes you said ..."

"I'll arrange it and I did let's go." Jungkook said.

"Woah wait now ? I mean so suddenly ?" Taehyung asked still puzzled .

"I got the idea this morning and a Friday picnic night doesn't sounds too bad
Does it ?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"A night picnic. Well gotta admit you have the most unique idea ." Taehyung said chuckling .

"I know right" Jungkook said before flipping his hair sassily . "Well then get in the car I'm driving."
