"You didn't think you could escape me that easily?" Danny's voice echoed through my ear and I felt his cold hand enclose around my arm. His words sent shivers of terror down my spine.
"No." I mumbled shaking terribly I felt him reach around to the front of me his arms slowly snaking their way up my shirt to where he roughly massaged my breasts through my bra. I squirmed in attempt to break free from his tight grasp but he only restrained me more. "Please." I whimpered feeling hot tears begin to roll down my cheeks.
"Hush." He cooed lifting me into the air, giving me just enough freedom to thrash around, I somehow managed to kick him in the gut knocking the wind out of him making him momentarily paralyzed, I took my chance and bolted from my room swinging the door open and taking off down the hallway in a mad dash. Seconds after I reached the bottom of the stairs I heard heavy footsteps from upstairs. My heart began to race as panic set in and I darted out the front door of the house never looking back as I shot down the road pushing myself as fast as I could. However, it was not fast enough for after a minute Danny's hands were on me and I was trapped in his arms once again. I screamed out in horror as I was shoved into a car, Danny started the car and stepped on the gas speeding away rapidly. I sat in the passenger seat next to him sobbing quietly as I watched through watery eyes scenery of civilization pass and soon all I saw was trees. Danny stopped the car abruptly and without saying a word turned to me and ripped my shirt off.
"Stop!" I protested to no avail as he continued to remove my clothing pinning my hands together over my head. "Stop!" I screamed again but was foiled when he shoved his tongue inside my mouth. I thrashed around again until I had broken his grip on my hands without stopping I swung open the car door and charged away pushing myself harder than I ever had in my life. Suddenly my vision was fogged and everything went black.
"Hannah!" Tyler was shaking me fiercely in an attempt to wake me. My eyes popped open. "Hannah, you had a nightmare you were if screaming." He explained to me. I nodded and whipped my face of the tears that had formed there. Tyler wrapped me in his arms and lifted me from the sheets cradling me gently in his lap as I felt his rough cast scrape at my back. I was staying here for another two days before I had to move to Fiona's for the summer. I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly. "What was your dream about?" Tyler questioned.
"Danny." I whispered hardly finding my voice. Tyler held me tighter running a hand through my hair when Cassandra burst into the room.
"Hannah are you okay?" She blurted out before she noticed Tyler and grimaced. "Tyler go." She ordered strictly. I hurriedly dug my finger nails into Tyler's back not wanting him to leave, he cringed in pain as I did giving me a small reassuring squeeze, that oddly mad me flinch, he stood and left the room without a word.
"Why did you make him leave?" I blurted out angrily towards Cassandra narrowing my eyes.
"You know why, Hannah." She whispered, hardly audible, I could just barely hear her. I sat on my bed cross legged in silence watching Cassandra with daggers. "Why were you screaming?" She asked returning to her main purpose of coming in here.
"I had a nightmare." I flatly responded as the visions of the dream flooded back into my head sending shivers up my spine and causing me to tense in fear. "It's fine." I forced out through gritted teeth turning away from Cassandra, she said no more, I'm assuming she nodded, before she shut the door and walked back up the hall to her own room. Slowly I laid back down and just waited for the sun to rise, fear of sleeping again consuming me. A couple of times I debated going to Tyler's room, but each time I decided against it afraid Cassandra would catch us. I had heard from Tyler that Mike had attempted to change her mind about us, unfortunately to avail. After a few hours I was taken over by exhaustion and slowly drifted back into, thankfully, dreamless, peaceful sleep.
I woke early the next morning at around six a.m. yawning tiredly from my restless night, I got up and trudged to the bathroom to take a hot shower and hopefully wake myself up. After I showered I felt considerably better. I dressed in a hot pink 'v' neck t- shirt, skinny jeans and tan Uggs, prior to drying and brushing out my hair and doing my makeup. When I had finished doing that I slowly descended the stairs and headed for the kitchen, it was now seven o'clock, Cassandra, Tyler and Mike were already there.
"Good morning." I greeted them without a smile grabbing a bowl and filling it with lucky charms.
"Hello, Hannah, did you get any sleep last night?" Cassandra asked obviously concerned, but, I was so infuriated with her at the moment I couldn't help but not care.
"Yes." I answered flatly walking into the other room.
"Hey." Tyler, who I hadn't even looked at, mumbled following me so that Cassandra didn't hear him.
"Hi." I whispered back.
"Are you okay?"
"I'd be better if you had stayed last night." I responded slightly glaring in his direction.
"I didn't want to cause any problems." Tyler tried to explain.
"Fine." I understood sounding rather cold.
"Are you mad?" He wondered staring at me intently.
"No." I sighed taking a bite of my cereal and suddenly losing my appetite. I walked back into the kitchen and placed my half full bowl in the sink just as I heard the horn of Fiona's car in the driveway signaling me to come out for school.
"Hannah, you are not going to school." Cassandra's eyes widened, she was shocked that I wanted to go.
"Why not?" I grumbled picking up my bag anyways.
"Something very traumatizing just happened to you and I want you to relax." Cassandra explained.
"I have three more days of school, I'm sure I can handle it." I shot at her turning and walking towards the door.
"Hannah." Cassandra called after me.
"I went to school when my parents died and I'll go now." I stated without turning back to face her, instead I walked out of the house and slammed the door. I hopped into Fiona's car and put on my seat belt without a word.
"Are you sure?" Fiona turned to me asking, referring to school, concern in her eyes.
"Yes." I snapped fiercely at her adjusting the strap on my bag just as Tyler walked out the door and got in the back of the car. He couldn't drive because of his injuries so Fiona would have to drive us both to school. The ride was spent in uncomfortable silence as I stared out the window, horrible memories of Danny flashing before my eyes.
"Hannah, we are here." I heard Fiona's soft voice invade my thoughts.
"Okay." I whispered tears welling up in my eyes, I quickly got out of the car and ran towards the school followed closely by Fiona. I flung the door open and charged in immediately running into someone and falling. "I'm sorry." I mumbled trying not to get too choked up to talk.
"Hannah, glad to see you finally dragged your slutty ass out of bed to join the real world." I heard an irritatingly familiar voice mock me. I glanced up at the girl's face to see Victoria. Memories now from the party came back to mind. She was the one who had kissed Tyler, and she was the base of the reason Danny got me.
