Louis turned to face Fran and walked towards her as he quickly sent a text message to Harry, curious at his comment.
*Little one? Thanks again for today! X X*
He plopped himself down on the sofa next to Fran, resting his teddy in the coffee table in front of them, and Fran almost immediately wrapped her arms around Louis. She rested her head against his chest and wrapped both arms around his waist and he returned the hug with his arm wrapping loosely over her shoulders.
'Talk to me Fran?' he muttered softly.
'We had a fight..' she kept herself in the same position as she spoke, he voice quiet and a little shaky. '..and I don't think I want to be with him anymore.'
Louis hugged Fran tighter and pulled her closer, playing with her hair a little.
'What happened?'
'He's been making comments all day, Louis.'
'What about? You can tell me, its only me.' Louis could tell that she was trying to be vague with her answers and he wanted her to know she was safe with him and could open up.
Fran glanced up to meet her eyes with Louis' and shuffled to sit herself up a little. Louis kept his arm around her shoulders as she gained the courage to carry on.
'He said he didn't like my outfit today, that it looks tacky.. And he said that he doesn't like us having double dates 'cause I give you more attention than him..'
Louis was at a loss as to what to say at first as he cleared his throat. Fran looked amazing today? She was wearing a white long sleeved top with frilled sleeves and neckline paired with a black pinafore dress. She had fishnet tights on with black and white checkered Vans. Her hair was faded from the purple dye so wasn't as bright as usual but still purple, and was almost completely down except from two small pieces of hair that she had braided, one on each side. Why was Brad telling her that he didn't like it?
'But you look amazing?' Louis frowned as he spoke.
'He didn't think so. I think he's jealous of you Louis..'
'What do you mean?' he laughed at the comment but then realised she was being serious.
'He said I give you more attention than him, he thinks I like you more than him.' she rubbed her eyes as she obviously tried to hold back tears.
'He's a complete dickhead, Fran. This jealousy thing is just stupid. We're friends, everyone can see that. And the fact that can't see how hot you are has pissed me right off..'
'Correction, we're best friends.' Fran forced a smile before she continued, 'Do you really think I looked okay today?..'
'Exactly! I've never had a friend like you, and listen to me.' Louis took hold of Frans hand and gave it a squeeze. 'Do not left any guy knock your confidence, ever. Fran you look incredible and if he can't see that then he's not even worth it.'
Fran was crying at this point, her face pressed back against Louis' chest and her tears soaking his top. His arm was still around her shoulders and his hand messing with her hair softly to comfort her the best he could.
He hated Bradley. With a passion. How dare he make her cry. What was his problem? Louis knew that jealousy was a tough trait to deal with. Sometimes it was a good thing, its nice to know someone cares about you so much that jealousy kicks in. But it was ugly on Brad.
He leant his chin gently on the top of Frans head as she leant into him still crying. She sniffed and fidgeted a little, rubbing her face a little against Louis.
'Do you have any jellybeans?' her words were muffled against the material of Louis' top.
'Jellybeans?..'
