How weird it is that I don't even feel cold now, despite today being December 25th. I'm just admiring and praying to the stars that I survive.

Yep, 5-year old me is thinking like an old man with no hope and no time left. But this is what happens when you are smart and have to face the world head-on, all alone.
What's the point? I have the best sources of knowledge and facilities, but my future is already defined... to use my brain and just do the things asked for... to be Merchant's right-hand man in the future. I can't stand the person who I despise the most and who lacks even the most basic decency and respect for human beings, let alone me, a lab-made.

"Stop!!! We should call Mr. Hereld on this matter." I suggested the class.

The whole class was shitting bricks, myself included.
And then, my partner in crime, Zyglavis, popped up. THIS PERSON ALWAYS CAUSES DRAMA. I SWEAR TO GOD IF WE NEVER SHARED SAME MOTHER I WOULD GLADLY KILL HIM.
"Hey guys. You know, I was in the arts room, and suddenly I felt that from the adjacent storeroom came a supersonic bang. I opened the window to look towards the storeroom and saw something falling from its window. " Zyglavis chirped.

Then the whole class of boys rushed to the door to see the crime scene.
Well... I think I should call Mr. Hereld.
I rushed to the staffs' lounge to inform the sleeping beast what had happened under his duty. I swear that the man can sleep for eternity if he gets his whiskey and his wifu pillow .

It's been 10 minutes since I started banging the book against this rusty-mooshy door of the staff's lounge. It would have been better if I ran to the teachers' enclave. It would have been 10 minutes wasted also.
Lord, I, Helio Merchant, heir to the Upper Class President, have never been so humiliated.

"What happened!... Young Master?" The giant roared.
"Can't you hear the booming sound and also now the sound of screams from below, from the playground near the storeroom!?" I sassed him.
"Call Ambulance! CALL AMBULANCE! BUT NOT FOR ME! " Zyglavis came running.Before I can ask him of anything he poured all the information.
" I was about to follow you up when I heard a scream from below, so I went to see what was going on. I saw the object that fell from the storeroom below, in the playground, was a *BABY*. There was blood oozing out of it. "
Well, if the baby fell from 3 storey building, then that's gonna happen... Wait. WHAT!?
We all ran to see the scene at the spot.
There lay a beautiful baby, a white bundle of joy with a shiny black cascade of hair, laying in its own blood. It will definitely be dead.
Mr. Hereld went to check on it.
"It has a pulse! I will call the emergency services. " Hereld announced.
"I have already called them." Dev, a slave of mine, came running with the team of the school's paramedics team.
Wait, where was he in the middle of this chaos?
Well, the emergency team took the baby with utter care and left for the hospital.
And that's the end of the school's sleepover program.
